Greg doesn't know how to get the contact information for the executives and he says he couldn't give out that information if he had it. He said there is no way of getting MML3 greenlit. As for the prototype I didn't ask, thought Loken would get to talk to him. So yes call again and get the information on the prototype.

I'll call him again today at 4. And if Greg says there is zero chance of getting the prototype and he can't help us at all, forget him.

Well, I've been busy with Project Legends, but I finally got my letter started. It's long, but I had a lot to say, tell me if you think it needs any correction.
Dear Capcom,
I've loved practically all of your work. Everything from U.N. Squadron to Okami. From D&D: Shadow over Mystara to Viewtiful Joe. I could list many more titles. Arcade or console, obscure or mainstream, but I believe you get the idea.
But what I've loved most from you has always been Megaman. He was my hero, after all. Growing up, everyone was arguing over Nintendo & Sega, over Mario & Sonic. But I didn't care. Because I had Megaman, I had Capcom.
And my favorite addition to the Megaman franchise would have to be Legends, hands down. Those games, that series, those were MY Halcyon Days. I can still fondly remember all the side-quests and the funny moments, I still play the games all the time, after all. They've been a part of my life for the past 10-11 years.
The charm, the lightheartedness, the adventurous and carefree attitude it exuded, it's all something I've cared about deeply and carried with me to this day. There aren't many games that still have that. It was one of a kind, and I always cite the series as a source of great personal inspiration to me.
When you announced a third installment, I was elated. But now, after all the support I'd given and all the optimism and hope I maintained throughout the process, I really don't know what to think. About the future of the Megaman franchise, the franchise of my hero, or about the direction of your company, which has always been my favorite since childhood. I'm less angry and disappointed at this moment and more just plain worried.
As a fan, a long time supporter, and just a person looking for some closure; I'd like to ask you something. What was the criteria that the game failed in? Why won't the Prototype, a product designed to gauge the public interest, never be used for it's original purpose and see the light of day? Why is a project so focused on fan-involvement, at a level never seen before, leaving it's fans in the dark over it's cancellation?
I, like many other fans, want the Prototype to at least make it to the market. The fans and the devteam that worked hard on it deserve that chance after all. Please consider this.
Sincerely,
A long time fan.

I like your letter alot Edich, very personal.
On the Greg front I'm still having no luck. I think maybe 4 and 5 o'clock is too late to be calling. I'll call tomorrow at 3. The number is on page 13 if you guys want to give it a try.

It looks like someone found a Japanese site dedicated to bringing Legends 3 back (One more DASH). It looks like it is centered around a twitter account. Just a tidbit for those who are like me and wonder what our Japanese counterparts are doing. www15.big.or.jp/~nmajima/one_more_dash/#top

I sent one of my letters out yesterday before going to work. Canada Post went on strike last month, and while they have resumed operations since, they are still slower than usual at getting mail out. I'll send another one out today, and another one next week, one of them should arrive around the date we're aiming for!
I was planning on sending a letter to each of the contacts listed, however I was wondering...are you guys sending a different drawing to each person, or using the same one? What about the letter, are you sending the same one to everybody?
Here is a cell phone pic of my letter written in pink ink plus my drawing. Writing it out just happened on its own, getting a few opinions on it completely slipped my mind as my pink pen took off on the page. I typed it out for any interested below. Dear Capcom,
I truly thank you, for creating the most influential piece of work I've ever experienced during my 21 years of life, the Mega Man Legends series. I played and fell in love with Mega Man Legends 1 on Christmas day of 1998. I have been fascinated by this series ever since; and it has honestly changed my life.
I own both The Misadventures of Tron Bonne and Mega Man Legends 2 as well, and I, along with many other fans, have been waiting over 10 years to see our favourite Blue Bomber finally get off of the moon.
Please support Mega Man Legends and your loyal fans, we all want Mega Man Legends 3 to happen! The fans are desperately reaching their hands out to you; please, grab our outstretched hands; together, I know that Capcom and the fans can make this game happen.
Legends Never Die!
Sincerely, ~ Servbot #780[/size]

I'm sending a different picture to each person, no letter. I mean, I've certainly voiced off quite a bit to Sven, assuming he really is reading every post, and a picture's worth a thousand words.

I think I might send in a nice, calm, half-way supportive letter to Capcom with all of the paragraphs forming the shape of a Servbot.

I'll admit; I was kind of in an overly hopeful state for awhile thinking that Capcom might pull a 180 and say "We're reconsidering our cancellation!" Decisions like that, no matter how unjust I feel they are, can not so quickly be undone.
So, I'm all the more supportive of campaigns like this letter writing one. The truth is, this is probably going to end up being a long-term battle, convincing Capcom with mass requests that people still really want a Mega Man Legends 3. It may have been a cruel tease to announce it and then take it away, but at least it has made a bunch of people internationally fired up about it now. Support may waver as time goes on, but at least for me, and I know for many of you and others, that this is not going to be something easily forgotten.

I'm a little bit worried that Crapcom didn't respond to any of the enraged fans. They could be just completely ignoring us
