What's an IRC?
IRC stands for 'Internet Relay Chat'. Basically, it's a flexible chat protocol.
The purpose of this IRC.
The IRC will be used as a development area for ServBot (Explained later), as well as a meeting place/chatroom for any Station users that wish to utilize it. Please note that the IRC is NOT an official branch of Mega Man Legends Station, it is 100% unofficial!
Accessing the IRC.
The quickest, and most direct way of accessing the IRC, is by using the following link. It will take you straight to a web-based IRC client:
webchat.freenode.net/?channels=servbot&uio=d4
Channel Information.
You can try this link it works with some clients:
irc://irc.freenode.net/#mmlstation
If that link doesn't work here is the basic channel information.
/server irc.freenode.net
/join #servbot
What time is the channel normally active?
I set up a web page that gives information about channel activity. You can find this page here
Using a downloadable IRC client.
As mentioned earlier, IRC is quite flexible, and has a variety of clients that can be used for your own pleasure.
Windows:
List of Windows clients
I would personally recommend Pidgin. It is much more visually pleasing, and allows for greater flexibility, compared to the web-client.
Mac:
List of Mac clients
I'd highly recommend Adium. I've personally used it for years, and it is very user-friendly. I even managed to make a MML sound set for it!
Linux:
Most versions of Linux come with an IRC client already installed. To my recollection, the most common one is XChat.
ServBot: The friendly face of the IRC!
ServBot is an Eggdrop that I have been working on since 2008. It has had many names over the years, but I decided to use the name 'ServBot' for the Devroom IRC.
The following list contains all current functional commands for ServBot.
List of planned funtions:

The following list contains all current functional commands for ServBot.
- !hug <user> - This will make ServBot hug <user> with the best of it's ability.
- !slap <user> - Results in ServBot slapping <user> with a variety of tools.
- !run - Servbot will.... run. I can't make it any simpler.
- !punish - Anybody who played MOTB will recognize this command. It will either; crush, burn or impale ServBot.
- !wiki <wikipedia article name> - A handy-dandy command that will automatically create a Wikipedia URL.
- !poke <user> - ServBot will poke the unfortunate soul that is named.
- !eat <anything> - ServBot will eat the named object.
- !uno - Starts a riveting game of UNO.
- !unocmds - Shows a list of UNO commands.
List of planned funtions:
- !stats (Link to the IRC stat-page.)
- MegaMan trivia game, including questions from the infamous Pokte Village Quiz.
