Hey guys. just thought you might like to see this. Hitoshi Ariga, author of Mega Man Megamix/Gigamix, has apparently made a sketch of Mega Man Volnutt, writing (I tried to put it through google translate, but it just ended up as a mess, sorry): Again, nothing huge, just a nice find hopefully. : ) Edit by EC - fixed quote; stupid Proboards limitation/bug/'feature'

That is quite a nice sketch that Ariga had made. As he is quite a fan of the Legends series, he had mentioned that he would've liked to make a manga based on it.

I can't read the quoted message properly due to incomplete text coding. Anyway, I have reason to believe that this isn't his first DASH/Legends-related one: ANSWER ME BROTHER!@ Steffie: Are you sure? Where did you get this claim of his?

@ Steffie: Alright, thanks for the quick reply.
I'll be all over it if he does it in the same style as Gigamix 3.

A very nice sketch Ariga did for Trigger. I loved how he handled Megamix and Gigamix. He can take elements like action, blend in comedy, drama and put in a lot of heart into the stories. I've read a lot of manga over the years, and I can say this honestly: Ariga's art and storytelling really stand out. If he ends up making a manga based on Legends, that would be something to look forward to.. One can only hope..

@hf: The text from that quote is actually from the bottom of the Twitter link up there, so you can refer to that as it's pretty much the same.
And that Ariga Tron sketch is nice! : o Seeing that really makes we wonder what a MML manga by him would look like officially...

What's this about an Ariga Tron sketch? I don't see one anywhere.

Those are some snazzy sketches, I like the Tron with Kobuns one. That poor Kobun! ;D That would be cool if Ariga made a Legends manga.

Ariga’s artwork is beautiful, and so is that Trigger sketch! I fell for his style while reading Mega Man Megamix/Gigamix. Like raven said, the way he uses drama, comedy, etc, is just right. His stories have a lot of heart, you can tell he loves the Mega Man world. I definitely wouldn’t mind him doing a Legends manga.
I think he’s doing artwork for the limited cover version of Mega Man Tribute, and Trigger’s on there as well, even if he’s off to the side. I might be wrong though. This one?

Yep, that's the hardcover edition that's exclusive to the San Diego Comic Con. Ariga had created a second piece that's avaliable for both the hardcover and softcover and would feature his favourite characters, like Punk.

I think you can buy the hardcover off of Udon's online store as well. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what I preordered. Darn thing is going to cost me $110, so it better be the hardcover version haha.
Right, I think I remember reading somewhere about him having a second piece as well.
