Edgekey Productions is my name for myself when I'm writing stuff. SO, now that that's out of the way. Yeah, thought I might as well link a couple things I've written. Thing is, I don't usually write as much as I really used to. Still, no harm in flexing the ol' grey matter muscles, right? Without further ado, I present Edgekey Productions' finest written works: EDGEKEY PRODUCTIONS WORKSGustaff Mk. II Tech DocumentMy relatively LEGEN--waitforit--DARY technical document on the capabilities of RP!Fatman's Gustaff Mk. II, the ingenious mini-mecha he uses when he's not getting blasted by cheapshot-style Chaos Spears and dying. Megaman Legends Fanfiction - The World Is WaitingChapter One: Life SentenceChapter Two: A New Lease On LifeChapter Three: A Bargain Between DiggersA currently-in-progress written work, this Megaman Legends fanfiction is written to take place in the one-year span between Megaman Legends 1 and 2. It's about my Fan Character, Isis (Do not steal ), and what her past--and present--is about: Survival. There are no planned cameos from the primary Megaman Legends cast.

Awesome, details everywhere!
Does the Gustaff-II have a dry weight as well, or is it all "post-loadout"? But only 304KG... it's awfully light for its size.

Dry-weight is the specs listed in the tech document. Special Weapons for it weight anywhere from 100 to 185 pounds, and auxiliary Modular Equipment parts usually weigh as much as you'd figure them to. The Leo Treads weigh about a couple tons even, for instance, which is a factor in the Gustaff Mk. II's slow movement with them equipped.
Honestly, I hadn't thought about weight until you mentioned it. I had originally planned to handwave it all, saying 'it's a future mech, it's not supposed to make sense' and have people adopt a MST3K Mantra/Rule of Cool thoughtline about it. So there's always that.

I can understand what you're getting at. I was just a little surprised at the base mecha being in the "less than half a tonne" category, which makes the main hardware weigh no more than a couple of motorcycles.
From your description, I imagine it to be around 4-6 metric tonnes*.
Of course, I am just being nitpicky about specifics since I'm nuts about this stuff. But I do believe that there are still certain limits which challenge one's willing suspension of disbelief.
* Reference used is of the ATM-09-ST "Scopedog", which is of similar height but larger build.

Well, you've sure got a point there. About four tons is the size of a Dodge Challenger, come to think of it, and Fatman is the kind of guy who drives one. I'll update the tech document with the new weight.
Also, keep your eyes out. I'll probably update The World Is Waiting sometime this weekend, maybe before or over July 4th. I'm hoping more people read what I've got so far.
