The lady doesn't have 3D model because the pirates took everything but the toilet paper. The jokes are very funny in alt Trigger, especially since fab's 3D animations and effects well represents it, which is very hard to do. Anyone think that Jishi is a servbot, because all fab did was change the head and the skin, the body is exactly the same from what I can tell.(the legs might be different.)

Okay, time for some updated info here to let you all know where things stand. First off, sadly, I have not touched AT since Part 03 was released. A little over two months already, disheartening I know... Anyway, I've got a lot going on right now, and with Christmas just around the corner things are gonna get even more hectic. However, December 6th marks one year since Alternate Trigger's introduction, and I hope to celebrate it with the "Director's Cut" for Part 03 that Jishi mentioned. If I don't get it finished by the 6th, at least expect it in December. Nothing major, but enough changes to warrant another read-through. After the new year, the schedule is hazy, but I should very much like to get back to work on the comic at that time. I really am excited about the potential of Part 04, and am actually looking forward to working on the 3D models needed for this one, just as soon as I have the time. I bumped into a comic on the web the other day that gave me a better appreciation for what it feels like to be a waiting fan (dreadful), and also inspired me a bit to try some new things to spice up AT from now on. bleedman.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=0

Yeah, you have stopped working on AT. I was shocked at the first few chapters because they seemed more adult-oriented on certain panels. But all in all, AT is very Poofy. (cool)

Thanks for your compliments and understanding JustinC and BRG. As it were they came yesterday while I was right in the middle of working on Alternate Trigger, and it was nice to see. I receive a lot of criticism and impatience on this project, which is understandable... The thing is, more than difficulty in creating 3D models (I've pretty much mastered the program), it just takes a lot of time, and I'm always short on that. But seriously, 4-6 months for one Part?Well, that's where many of the fans fail to realize just what Alternate Trigger is... Sure I get enough time that I could probably do one Part every month or two. Then why don't I? Because I'm an artist and AT is a piece of artwork. When I force myself to work on a piece of art when I'm not really feeling inspired, it never turns out. So while I may actually get enough time for AT, there's no guarantee that I'll even be remotely in the mood to work on it. Now for some good news, I am on an upward streak with it. Yesterday I managed to pour 7 hours into it, and I'm planning on more when I finish work today. Let's hope I can keep up my momentum! do you model all of your facial expressions or do you rig the faces? Wanna use the model I've already made for MMLEX? I can't animate or take the time to make pretty BG's so if you wanna use em, go for it would be nice to put all of thse to use for two projects, Productivity = 200%

Um, just for the record, Limewire is not legal. Just because they sucker you into paying for it and make you think it's legal doesn't make it so. Because it's not.
(Trust me, they got my dad too.)
You could like, BUY it.

You could like, BUY it. The apps may be legel (IE lime wire) but dloading apps with out paying for them is illegal. BTW Fel, I'm lost as to this whole white bread thing, can I join the white bread club too?

Ok, I just want to say that I really appreciate this comic. I have visited this forum a few times to read discussions about stuff, but I didn't decide to join until today after I read all of the comics. Thank you very much, fab.
My favourite parts involve the humour. Especially really awkward stuff like Tuttle creeping Roll out, and being afraid to walk into the water to get the chest. And then there was Mega Man asking Roll to get the refractors before they dissapear. I was howling with laughter!
This is a REALLY neat comic. I prefer the humourous parts to the serious parts, but I think you have a good combo going on.
Again, thanks very much for sharing.

Dang, Proboards 4 really threw me for a loop by removing all the old thread notifications. I'm still playing catch up with the hundreds of threads I used to watch. @_@
Thanks very much aiden, it's always nice to hear from new people enjoying AT. Humor is at the heart of it, and any sort of semi-plausible storyline I can try to piece together, well that's just extra. As a matter of fact I've kind of built the story around getting the characters into situations and places that allow me to include the many jokes I came up with at the comic's conception. So it pleases me to know that approach is working, or at least has worked so far.
*scrolls back up further*
Thanks for your offer Mandinga. However, not only do I already have Trigger and Roll models that I'm pretty happy with, but I just prefer to keep AT as a solo project. When I look at it I want to be able to say, yeah I did it all!

I showed my Animation teacher Alternate Trigger. He was very impressed, and apparently has been showing it to some of his students. Keep it up! LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE!!

I really should have read this a long time ago...unfortunately my stinky processer and dial-up connection didn't like AT as much as I did (I gave up halfway through the first page last time I tried reading it, honestly at least half an hour had passed without much progress.) Alas, tonight my computer's actually been agreeable for once! And thus, I got to read AT (and loved the whole bit of it). I kept bursting out laughing at the most random things--the Sam's Club in the middle of Saul Kada (with Legends cars parked in it!), the curry rice and spaghetti noodles, the weapon-developing process, Tuttle, that tiny, obscure island with the really cool name ...yeah. The list goes on and on. Is Roll going to use Loath's nose to make the drill arm, by any chance? I can't wait till 04--keep up the excellent work, fab! ;D
