Also, I hate the 3DS's battery life. Why is it only three hours in 3D mode? This. I LOVE my 3DS, it just sucks that I can only get a few solid rounds of SF4 in before the battery starts to crap out on me.. But the power saving settings do help a lot. Anywho, idk... I think the 3DS is the perfect platform for this game. DASH 1&2 on the PSP was a wonderful handheld experience for me, I doubt this will be anything less.

Regarding the 3DS battery, I haven't had too much trouble with it myself. Just got to remember to keep that thing charged. It's awful convenient when you use the charging cradle; just set the thing down on it when you're not playing and it will stay charged.. heck I take the charger with me if I feel like I'm gonna need it. I hear Nyko sells a nice replacement battery pack that gets roughly double the battery life of the standard 3DS battery, though. It adds a bit of bulk to the 3DS unit, but it doesn't look too terrible. And $30 gets you the battery plus its charging dock — quite a deal, really. (I have not purchased one of those, but just about everyone swears by it) Regarding the actual topic at hand... There's not an awful lot I can say that hasn't already been said. 3DS is a perfectly capable hand-held to deliver a gaming experience that can match the quality of a Playstation game and then some. So we're not really getting gypped here, just because they're not making MegaMan Legends 3 in stunning HD for a current home console, or anything like that. (MegaMan Legends was never about that stuff anyway.) There are worse platforms we could've gotten this sequel for, for sure — and there was a time when the fandom generally would've accepted so little. I do understand how one might be a bit annoyed to have to buy a 3DS specifically for this game if he weren't already planning to do so. That's a pretty valid complaint as far as I'm concerned. But such is life: console exclusives have been pissing people off for several generations of gaming already... The bottom-line is, 3DS is a great system for MegaMan Legends: by the devs' own words, it's an easy platform to develop for, and based on the footage and materials we've seen so far, it looks fantastic. So yeah... nothing that hasn't been said really. Stop complaining.

Well I can understand if you just don't want one. But when I see people completely ranting out of anger I just guess they are mad because they can't get a 3DS in order to play Legends 3. No. I am mad because too many people want me to buy one. I have plenty of money. I just don't like it at all. I think that MegaMan Legends 3 is going to fail. I would love to be proven wrong but I just know that I am not going to be proven wrong. They have had several years to make this game but chose not to. Now an independent company is making it. Not one of the good companies that Sony holds close to itself. I am not talking about one of the companies that make million dollar games. I am talking about one of the companies that make hundred dollar games. Why do you think they are having the fans make most of it? Because this company probably can't afford to spend much time on this game. Sony has already said that these people are on a very short leash when it comes to this game. They have already said that this game isn't going to make much money. So. If all of you will just get off my back about this then we will be golden. I have been putting together these pieces from different pieces of interviews and information posted on this site. If you refuse to believe this then you are blind or you just don't want to see the truth. It would be great if this game did good. But that is the biggest if of them all.

MegaMan Legends 3 is not being made by an “independent company.” It's being made by Capcom, same as always. The closest the game came to being made by an independent company was when IntiCreates offered to make it back in 2005, but Inafune turned them down. (I don't know if they qualify as “independent.” They are a very small company, though.) The game is being made by a team of developers at Capcom from varied backgrounds, some from the original MegaMan Legends team, even.

I did say that wasn't going to call you a troll, but... I change my mind on THAT note. Especially the bolded parts. There are a lot of Mega Man Legends fans that have been waiting for this and all of those fans with a 3ds, big or small, will get this game. Fans big enough may probably get a 3ds just for this game (they probably will have one already anyway, though), not to mention adding all the first time players. It may be a hassle to get a console just to play a game, but trust me, MML3 WON'T be the only game you get for the 3DS. You don't get a game system just to play one game. You get it to play-to put it bluntly-more than one game. If you think the game is going to fail, fine. Just don't troll about this and every other thing you don't like. Also if you want us to get off your back, you shouldn't have even made this topic in the first place. I've never EVER had to be so forceful with anyone before, but you've drawn the line. I'm regularly a nice guy, but this is just stupid to me.
