I was really looking forward to this game doing good. I really want this game to do good... But the 3DS? Really? It's not that I think the 3DS is really bad. I just think that this kind of game would do better on a different console. I just know they are going to try to make you fire your weapon with that god awful stylus. They tried to do the same thing with the Zelda games. Most of the games they try to force the stylus onto usually doesn't work out too well. I am probably not making too much sense or any sense at all. I really do want to see this game do good. But after MegaMan Legends 2 my hopes sank. And the misadventures of Tron Bonne was a misfire. I think this game would do a lot better on say the PS3 or Xbox 360. Maybe even the PSP if they don't try to over do it. This game has a lot against it. It is going to have to live up to the first game. Most of the fans are going to expect a game that is as good or better then the original. I just don't see a DS game doing that.

Uhhh...have you examined the libraries on the PS3 and 360 at all? Legends would stick out like a sore thumb, and most likely wouldn't have any appeal for their respective audiences as a whole, existing fans notwithstanding.
I like the idea of having it on a handheld. If it had been that way from the start, I wouldn't have had half the trouble I did playing the games on the big screen...like my sister wanting to listen to Backstreet Boys while I was playing, or my mom vacuuming the living room during the major cutscene in Legends 2, or anybody walking in on Naked Sera at all.
On top of that, you wait ten years and then complain about it being on a system you weren't expecting? Honestly, after this long the fact this game exists is a miracle at all. :-\ With the delays and the greenlight situation going on, just be glad it's even got a chance at existing.

I can kind of see where you're coming from with the rant, but like Dashe says, we should honestly be happy its “development” actually exists. I was skeptical about the whole hand-held thing at first, but it's rather late for this sort of rant. and, is it really that bad? I found Spirit Tracks™ to have awesome gameplay and storylines despite the stylus movement. if you want something to rant about, try Wii-mote typing in forums. Way less fun (I'll shut up about it now.)

I was really looking forward to this game doing good. I really want this game to do good... But the 3DS? Really? It's not that I think the 3DS is really bad. I just think that this kind of game would do better on a different console. It'll be fine. I just know they are going to try to make you fire your weapon with that god awful stylus. They tried to do the same thing with the Zelda games. Oh yeah, Because onetwo, game did that made by a different company (Oh and a different game play style all together), it's bound to happen. FYI, No, We already know that that won't be the case because we've seen someone playing the prototype, and they obviously weren't using a stylus. Most of the games they try to force the stylus onto usually doesn't work out too well. I am probably not making too much sense or any sense at all. See above. I really do want to see this game do good. But after MegaMan Legends 2 my hopes sank. And the misadventures of Tron Bonne was a misfire. Why are you even wanting to play MML3 if you only seemed to like the first of the games? I think this game would do a lot better on say the PS3 or Xbox 360. Maybe even the PSP if they don't try to over do it. This game has a lot against it. It is going to have to live up to the first game. Most of the fans are going to expect a game that is as good or better then the original. I just don't see a DS game doing that. SO, You would prefer it to be on a pretty much dead handheld with less graphic power? Wow... You really do need to do a bit more research. And no it will never be on a console like the PS3 or Xbox, sorry. Legends isn't a big enough title to warrant the dev cost of something like that.

This is dumb, honestly. They aren't going to make you fire with the stylus, stop worrying. We've already seen gameplay videos and it was obvious no one was doing that. As far as we can tell now, it's going to be played just like the PSP ports, which controlled fantastically.

The 3DS is what we got, we can't change Capcom's mind at this point and I doubt they would cave anyways. I think that its our best chance at success given the current market. This is a game aimed at children and every kid is begging their folks for a 3DS.
I worry about using the stylus during game play as well but heck its there might as well use it for something.
I won't expect Legends 3 to live up to Legends nor do I want it to, I want Legends 3 to be its own game.

My only complaint is that now I have to buy a 3DS, as I wasn't planning on getting one. Also, I hate the 3DS's battery life. Why is it only three hours in 3D mode?

Ugh, when will you people learn it's not the console that matters? I bet this guy's just mad he can't afford a 3DS like the rest of them.

Well I can understand if you just don't want one. But when I see people completely ranting out of anger I just guess they are mad because they can't get a 3DS in order to play Legends 3.

I was disappointed it wouldn't be on consoles first. Then I got a 3DS just for this purpose, this thing is so awesome, I think it will still be amazing no matter what they put it on.

Considering this guy's last thread was a negative review of MoTB with similar backlash from everyone. I think we should all consider the possibility that's he's just a troll. Don't feed him.

I was going to say that, but I wasn't going to call him a troll... Isn't it enough though that he thinks MoTB is bad? What's with this thread? He says his hopes went down with MML2, so is he going to rant about that too?

Hah! I must say, Benjamin really made my night with that one. I certainly hope Link can find some better way to support his future rants in just one post, because his threads turn into laughing stocks pretty quickly. If you're reading this Linky dear, we want your input.
