Have been quite left out from what`s going on with MML3's developing process; was quite bewildered to see there`s already 9-minute 'Prototype gameplay video'. Of course, I checked it out, got really amazed by all the stuff Barett can do, the new city, fairly fresh gameplay, etc. But eventually, I thought to myself : 'Is MML3 going to be the Legends game?' I mean, just glancing through that video makes me think MML3 is totally different, even way too different from the first and the second games. I know the series have to be developed and ameliorated, people do need new stuff to be implemented in next games. MML2, to my mind, carried the original concept of the first game - the concept was slightly changed by adding new functions, items, rivals and allies, etc., still being the same. MML3 seems to be getting a new touch. No matter how delicate, just different. Well well, at least I hope I just overreacted. =D

Interesting name =P
Will it be different? Certainly lol. Will it still feel like a Legends game? We'll find out when we get our hands on that Demo I guess.
Times change, and whether or not we like all those changes, there they are. And we'll see where things go from there.

I think it will keep the feel...but I trust Inafune's hand picked team.

Well no matter what change to this series is inevitable, good or bad I'm just going to roll with it. Sure this game might not be what we expect but heck its Legends 3, some people have been waiting a decade.
I don't think the dev team will disappoint.

The only difference I ever really notice is voice acting. Otherwise, I really don't notice any real change thus far. Deeper system chat so early in the game was new to me in MML2, and I knew I wasn't going to understand a single thing being said until later in the game, and I was right! I know what they mean now! Honestly, do you remember playing through MML2 the first time and not understanding what the heck was being said? I do.
Anyway, I don't think any of the charm will be lost, it'll be more of a matter of cosmetics and audio that'll affect things. Enhanced graphics will be a plus in my book.

If you mean about MML charm, and if it is going to be the same or different, it´s a matter of personal opinion, for example, I think MML2 is TOO different from MML1, they totally changed reaverbot concept, added new gameplay functions, improved graphics at least a bit, focused more on plot and less in sub-missions, and such, so what makes you consider MML2 as the same "rank" as the first one? again, personal opinion.
MML3 will be completely different from previous games, what matters here is HOW you consider it, after all, the reality is perceived different by each person based on their knowledge and life experiences. If it is MML then it´s just that, nor anything else.

Wow, that was positively inspiring, Rockman Striker. And, by the way, I agree on the MML2 thing...maybe that's why I have yet to have played it even half the times I have MML1. But, it's still a wonderful game all to itself-and in many respects a better game than MML1. So I expect MML3 to be MML-just MML with a nice shiny new coat.

The definition and measure of "Classic" aside, Capcom will really be testing themselves on their ability to improve yet retain what really 'defines' a DASH game.
If CyberConnect2 can do it with Sore Kara CODA He, I expect Capcom to pull through.

Times have changed since back in the 90's, and so have the presentation and gameplay of games today. I'm not necessarily talking about casual vs hardcore, but I mean, several aspects of revived game series have changed.
I'll give an example. Me and many Rare fans were super stoked when Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, the 'supposed Banjo-Threeie' that we had been waiting for 10 or so years, was announced. And it was vastly different compared to Banjo-Tooie...
So different in fact, that I hated the game and it was ultimately the title that no longer made me a fan of Rare. <_< Call me an overly-nostalgic fan or whatever, but I did not like it.
But negatives aside, I trust Capcom more than Rare. Unlike Nuts and Bolts, which was giving us negative vibes from the VERY START, Legends 3 still looks more faithful to the first two. It is a bit different yes, but it's more faithful than Nuts and Bolts ever was. =P

I think it looks pretty faithful to the series. Of course the graphics are a bit different to what we are used to, we havn't had a game since the blocky old PS1, so the new graphics is something we will have to adapt to, and luckly the more I see MML3's art, the more I like it. The new market is very nice and legendsy(What Apple Market should have been), and the new ruins looks great. All in all I think it will still have the same charm.
