Wow almost a year since this was last posted in! Anyways I was playing MML1 and just repair the police station as soon as I could. I noticed something weird! This girl is up by the desk filing a report with an officer and I'll just give you the exct quote because it really speaks for it's self. Yeah... stolen panties. Our game is pretty weird sometimes... EDIT: I said 'Are' instead of 'Our. Stupid, stupid, stupid :15:

Lol, also a Capcom game isn't? Maybe Capcom is just a panties stealin' bunch. Or may it's the Japanese in general. I don't know, but it's kind of awkward. I wish that the dudes from Super Replay would have found that. They would have made a running gag out of it.

hahaha, never expected to read a dialog like this one in MML, but thinking about it, it's just another classic anime pervert cliche as the hentai magazines or accidentally touching a girl's boobs, that last one is not in MML because is a more "mature" joke, but it's replaced by the "accidentally (or not-so-accidentally) catching a girl nude" situation.

Since this topic came back from deadness let me see if I can remember something...
Ah yes in downtown I accidentally saw a reference to Street Fighter. Uh... *forces brain to remember*
I belive it is one of the houses next to the East gate (Old City) I do't remember where exactly this conversation is triggered but when you inspect the door a kid says something like: "Mom! Mom! There's a blue boy on the TV! He beat those pirates" As the mother replies: "Son, step out of the television, you have been playing too much Street Fighter."
Dang you Capcom.

I just noticed alot of things about Barrels room! First he has a massive map of the Legends world on his wall. It's not the same as the MML2 map but maybe that was just one side. Thereare like 7 continents on the map and one has a huge eye shaped lake thing! The awesome thing is that he also has a globe on his desk that matches the map exactly, eye-lake and all! Not only that but the huge golden coffin in his room is a from a 'Famous desert country'! Saul kada anyone? One more thing, and it's slightly cheesy. One of the books on Barrels shelf is 'Return of The Digger' which can only be a Starwars reference! I hope Barrel wrote that book!

I remember seeing a reference to the Megaman series in MML2:
1)(The first Megaman series)In some houses there are books on a tables with Iceman's image on them (I think).
2)(Megaman X Series)Also, if you go to the general store is Yonsyoke City, you can see Zero in his Nightmare armor in a poster on the wall (although I think this one should have been obvious).

BlastMandrill: "I remember seeing a reference to the Megaman series in MML2." She named Trigger after her favorite video game character, IIRC. In Saul Kada after you drive away the Bonnes, there is a boy and his pet on the first area of the city. The boy thanks you since he can now go outside. The fox thanks you for nothing since he hates going outside.

Yikes, I can't remember exactly, but I think in the Clozer Woods ruins, I always used to think that Mega Man was struggling to read because he was just a slow reader or something. I just started a new game a few weeks ago and was wondering about this myself. Glad to have that cleared up now haha!

I never payed much attention to the bakery signs. I now know who ever named them was a rather strange individual....and i respect them for that.

Did we ever get the name of that one girl who kissed Trigger in Legends 1?

Hah, nah... She doesn't have an official name, and I don't know if there's any older discussion around of anybody thinking of possible names. Although, Estil's transcript refers to her as "Girl-in-Green-Dress-Near-Green-House." Bit of a mouthful, eh? A fitting name nonetheless. Quick Find: smooch! smooch!Another noteworthy girl of MML1 would probably have to be Climbs-On-Top-Of-Things-Girl. She was undoubtedly more interesting than some random girl who gives you a kiss for blowing up a frog... :12:

That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

It'd be cool if somebody made a mini-game featuring COTOTG a la Ice Climbers.

It'd be cool if somebody made a mini-game featuring COTOTG a la Ice Climbers. I remember suggesting something like that once a while back in a thread about Legends style minigame ideas. It had a progress-to-larger-and-larger-buildings element to it, to the point where you'd eventually climb the Main Gate.
