tindeck.com/listen/iwyq - Just a WIP...for now. Alright, first and foremost...this is a very loose interpretation of the Safe Room/Haven theme. I chose this particular track because of the fact that I can do pretty much whatever I want with it...and I did. The remix is meant to go through a variety of emotions and feelings. The opening gives off a feeling of relief..."I'm in a safe haven, I'm safe for now." But then the realization of what you just said begins to weigh on your mind and you start feeling very UNsafe, possibly even scared. Of course, it's only a moment of weakness as you slap yourself to regain your composure. You're still alive and that's what counts. You grip your handgun tightly as you stare at the door. You begin to walk toward the door, your free hand reaching out to grab the doorknob and... D'OH! I really do hate WIPs, but this one...I'm definitely excited about. And just for the record, this is only a WIP because I needed a break from my PC...and a break from music. I had too many ideas going on in my head for this and I needed that to stop. I know what I want to do with this and I didn't need new ideas to kick me off my current path. EITHER WAY! I encourage you fellow MMLSers to listen to this...and write out what YOU hear and feel when you listen to this. Hey, you might even come up with a pretty BA short story.

0Dash0 that was beautiful, it starts off, your weary yet still determined and you take a few moments to recollect yourself. Then it hits you, the will to fight, to survive, rearm and equip the tools you need for what lays ahead.
This remix is awesome.

That second part just screams "Donkey Kong Country" to me, and if you've ever heard Aquatic Ambience from the game, then you probably know why. The music could be cousins. Anyway that first part did remind me of a feeling of security, perhaps even a feeling of emotion and the thought "I know what's coming..." then it went straight into cave-like Donkey Kong music. Not a bad interpretation I hope?

Avegodro, you can just call me Dash my friend. Your description seems spot-on to me, thanks for your comment. Mikey, wow...I actually haven't listened to this track in forever. Um...I think I have a new remix to do after this one is finished. ^_^ Your interpretation was fine, really. That's what I like about this remix, every can interpret it differently. It's creates imagination! ...Ok, maybe not imagination, but I hope it at least excites some emotions/feelings from people.
