Okay, so I tried to get on to capcom-unity. They sent me the e-mail to activate it but I don't know what to do. Help me...

What exactly does your email from CU look like at this point? (If you send a screenshot, blur out anything you think might be considered personal. I still have my activation email, so I can try and help out if possible.)
(Or if you've already figured it out, then there's no need.)

The way I make a screenshot is by pressing the PrtSc button once on your keyboard, then pasting it into paint (under the edit menu or by pressing ctrl+V in the program), trimming it, then saving it as a gif or png. I've never used Vista myself, but I'd assume you'd use a similar technique.

I've never used Vista myself, but I'd assume you'd use a similar technique. You do. Making screenshots has always been done the same way, even in Vista or 7. But really, activating an account on Capcom-Unity should be extremely easy. I don't remember much, but if anything, it should be exactly how one would activate their account on any other forum anyway. There should be a link where it says "Click here to activate your account", or something along the lines of that. If not, then there should be a number to copy, and a link that takes you to the page where you're supposed to paste it and click Okay. There's really nothing hard about it at all. It also helps to actually read the e-mail. ...Although I do recall once having trouble activating my own Capcom-Unity account, but I can't remember what it was.

From Windows Vista onward, there's a built-in “Snipping Tool” that you can use to take screenshots quick and easy. For Windows XP and before, you can find some handy programs that do the same thing. My personal recommendation is Faststone Capture. I've found that for all things Capcom Unity, it helps to have good luck on your side. Before you proceed, you should invest in a rabbit's foot or a four-leaf clover or something of the like. Any good luck rituals will also be beneficial. Knock on wood, cross your fingers, avoid the number thirteen... there's a lot of things you can do to increase your chances. In the really extreme cases, animal sacrifice may be necessary. Hopefully it won't come to that. Don't worry — you'll get there.

Get an account for Photobucket or Imageshack, and upload it there. Then attach it using:
There is an attachment function on proboards, but it doesn't work as well, the thumbnail it makes is ugly and poorly-aligned, and you can only attach one image per post. Do not recommend.

If you absolutely insist.
*Grumbles something under her breath about Proboards*

Yeah, what everyone else said. The only difference is that I use a Mac and its Preview feature to take screenshots.
@ Mikey and Dr. Jerk: That's usually the same way with every Windows computer I've seen. (It's entirely useful, too. XD)
@ atomiccrusader: If you use the attachment function, then I guess that's alright, but if you had used Photobucket via an account and uploaded it, you could've sent the link through here or in PM or whatever. Just choose whichever you think will work best.

All right, I don't normally do this... well actually, I do. I make screen-shots for a living cuz it's the only thing close to "art" I ever get. This is what the Unity registry email looks like in hotmail: (Don't bother typing in that activation link, it's a fake account registered under one of my spam-emails. )

Atomiccrusader, why would you need a picture of someone else's CapU registration email when you're the one who's not sure what to do with theirs?

More or less, I think it was because for some reason Unity wasn't sending the email, and he may have wanted to see what it looked like, but that's my assumption
Crusader, when you manage to find the email, you click on that great big fat link in the center, then bam. Your Unity account is activated, and you can log in with the username/password you registered with. Simple as that.
