Here's something that I've been wanting to finish for a little while now. There was actually a desktop theme released for Windows XP that came with MML1PC, but it obviously won't work if you're using a newer OS. I decided to make an updated version for Windows 7, but with some MMLS charm added. All of the backgrounds are wallpapers that fab's done for the site, and they rotate as well (this is editable). There's also a blast from the past when you first switch over to it...
The mouse cursors are also intact as well, and can be setup within the mouse options that can be accessed from the Control Panel. Just swap the old cursors with the properly-named MML ones and you should be on your way.
MMLS Windows 7 Theme Mouse Cursor files
Enjoy!

I wonder if I had a little something to do with this. I just wonder... heh. This weekend, I'll be sure to install it on my dad's comp, provided you did the transfer from XP to 7 enough for me to figure out the rest. I probably posted this picture somewhere else before, or I probably didn't, but it's the MML theme in XP form. Note, I do stuff on my desktop in a whopping 1400 by 1050 pixils, so if the image seems rather big, that's because it is.

Yeah, I went into that thread you'd mentioned and found the XP theme. I simply did some tweaking to make it both Windows 7 compatible and add some MMLS-ism to it. As far as the theme goes, once you unzip the file you literally double-click it and it installs itself.

Well, with Windows 7 the only thing themes consist of are backgrounds, sounds, and screensavers, which is why the cursors are separate. I could give you a snapshot of what my desktop looks like right now; the theme changes aren't really that drastic visually. Also, your Start Menu Servbot is in the wrong file format; the editor only accepted .bmp files.

Awesome! I used to have the MML theme, and it was sad when my computer became unable to use it after several updates. It's great to see it back and improved- that 'blast from the past' was hilarious. XD Infinite kudos, BC!

I have to say this was cool. I tried it out, accidently copied it, and I liked the backgrounds those were fun to look through.

I still am really enjoy this theme, the wallpapers are gorgeous (although some of them go off the screen a bit), and the opening tune always makes me smile.

Yeah, I had it as a bmp but deviant art converted it. Maybe I'll get around to uploading the bmp somewhere someday. Unless somebody here really wants it, in which case I'll expedite said upload.

Okay I've jumped almost twenty times when I click on buttons and it starts talking. I decided that since I had to reset the entire laptop might as well give it an appropriate theme. I once again commend you for this. Lets see if I can scare myself again...

Windows7 themes officially only consist of sounds, wallpapers, window color, and a screensaver. Stuff like icons and cursors couldn't actually be a part of the theme per say, that's all separate.
