I'm arriving "a bit" late, but better late than never, I guess. Since I can't see, I have to rely on screen reader programs to read things. But they unfortunately can't read text inside images, so I asked my mother to read the comic for me . We finished chapter 1. I'm amazed thinking on how much work and time must have been put into all the planning, drawing and writing. Very well done! As for the story, I was surprised with the hostility of the Kattelox people towards outsiders (very different from the game, though realistically it was to be expected). And I'm intrigued by the mysteries surrounding Rock.

Aiyumi: Thanks. I'm glad you liked it! One of elements I want to touch on (if slightly) is discrimination between those settled down somewhere, and those who wander around Terra. Partly why I used a mix of terminologies between both DASH and Legends to come up with new concepts behind "Digouters" and "Diggers", and how the former has the derogatory "Outer" to further this world-building element I found quite meaningful. Interesting note you made in regards to screen readers though. It's given me something to consider once I have time for it... Update: New page is up!

Yes, I noticed that! Also, I read through the last few pages from the thread and saw a mention of Roll holding a PET (I think it was the part where they fix the car). Nice reference, Roll being an operator and all. Interesting note you made in regards to screen readers though. It's given me something to consider once I have time for it... An audiobook version, or something like those Japanese visual novel games with voice acting would be really nice.

Keys? What keys? The faster we get to the Feldynaught, the better. >: D
And that's assuming the Feldynaught's even downtown. Or in this comic. I'm not completely sure where Tron would be hiding it, but I guess looking back on the game, it kind of popped up out of nowhere, too. For all we know you could have stuck it over in City Hall with Bon and the other Servbots.

You're right. MegaTuga noticed the PET reference first (the design from EXE1 to be exact). You made the further connection though. Nice! I was thinking along the lines of a transcript of each page to help readability and searching, but an audiobook...? You mean like an audio drama? That's... a little ambitious. Keys? What keys? But yeah, it it is bound to appear! The question of course is in what capacity, and from my point of view, how well-received would it be.

I keep imagining those Japanese visual novel games (they're usually romance games) that have manga like illustrations and spoken dialogue. Very ambitious, but we can always dream. Okay, back to reality. A transcript would also be great! Edit: by "audiobook" I meant having someone record while reading it aloud. That's how I managed to "read" a lot of the books for studying at school. But then there's no searching. A transcript would be a better solution.

Should dating elements be more varied in RMD, I imagine multiple character-specific events based on your actions: Roll (obviously) / Tron / Amelia / Ira (!?) etc... A fun idea nonetheless! A shame I don't have the manpower to see it through (let alone the time I put into everything else). If professional voice talents are an option, I believe Romi Park would be perfect for RMDL's Rock (despite the original being perfectly ironic, being King of the Pirates and all). As for Teisel, how about Akio Otsuka (a.k.a. young BIG BOSS)? I like to see the website itself as part of the entire RMDL project. Adding some extra features would be essential for accessibility (though it'll likely be a while until I get around to it, so bear with me on this!). Update: What's this, another new page so soon?

I was thinking more on how the "engine" works rather than the dating aspect. If professional voice talents are an option, I believe Romi Park would be perfect for RMDL's Rock (despite the original being perfectly ironic, being King of the Pirates and all). Hmm, sounds good. I never liked Rock's original Japanese voice for some reason. As for Teisel, how about Akio Otsuka (a.k.a. young BIG BOSS)? Also Red from Rockman X7. Nice choice too. I also keep imagining which voice actors would suit characters from my stories, specially if they don't have an anime or game counterpart.

Bonus pages are awesome, especially at times like this when you have an action scene with fast pacing. Good timing!

I was thinking more on how the "engine" works rather than the dating aspect. Well, of course there's that too... When it comes to male characters, Mayumi Tanaka tends to do cocky young kids very well (though nowhere near the legendary Akiko Yajima for a certain ongoing role). Rock is too 'nice' by contrast, so there's some pigeon-holing right there. You must be quite experienced with veteran VAs then! If you had the opportunity, how would you (re)cast certain characters? Bonus pages are awesome, especially at times like this when you have an action scene with fast pacing. Good timing! Well... I did say I would try!

You must be quite experienced with veteran VAs then! Oops, maybe not... Because I just found out that I didn't know it was Akiko Yajima in that legendary role. It's the first time I hear her speaking normally. Cute voice . Also Gaspard from .hack//G.U., and of course, in Rockman DASH 2, we have... (*Gasp*) "It's her! She's the one who stole my microphone and put me in the locker!" "Ahaha." "Ehehe." ... Okay, probably not the ones you were thinking... I was surprised when I found out that she also voiced that reporter and the Calbania twins. It was quite the contrast, specially since I had learned of her "main role" first, so I tried to think of them but I couldn't get Sera out of my head. If you had the opportunity, how would you (re)cast certain characters? I'll have to think. But I'd definitely change Rock and Roll's voices. Also recast Nino Island's Guildmaster and Johnny, because they had the same VAs as Barrell and Muller/Bluecher, with too few changes to their voices.

Update: Death from ninja (was it?) from a couple of days ago notwithstanding, new page's up! Just to repeat the news post here for conveniences' sake: I've been working on the big documentation page for some time, which aims to build a comprehensive encyclopedia of the Halcyon Days era using any details and hints I can find from the games and published added content. As a few example, sections include Terra itself, energy sources (though a little trivial now, it includes the long-awaited explanation for choosing Deflectors in favor for Refractors), technology, cultures, and so forth. As the story progresses, this section will be updated along with the glossary. Ideally, this section would expand to cover pretty much everything involved in the Halcyon Days, so I would like to ask everyone here to pitch topics which you find interesting to have covered. Thanks in advance!

Huh...topics about the world...dang, that's a tough one. I don't think I even know where to begin!
