Very. But if you do that please, oh PLEASE, do an alternate version of regular glasses rather than the "swirly crazy professor" ones in MoTB. Seconded. The swirly glasses just look silly. Oh good! Because I find the swirly glasses silly. Opaque shiny glasses just to make her creepy would be fine, but that's as far as I would go. Just did a basic sketch, thinking of adding the lab coat later to complete the look. What do you think?

I think her upper arm's too short and her neck's too thick, anatomically speaking. As far as the glasses are concerned, I was thinking something slimmer, like oval frames. If you're going for something that'd look like it was from when MML was new, that's when glasses started getting slimmer and less obnoxiously huge like in the 80s and early 90s. If you're going for something that looks current, they'd need to be more angular and chunky. Or just chunky like a hipster.

Uuh... are you by any chance aiming to the "can almost see it but you can't"? I know I'm a pervert for pointing that out. It's a manga, it's to be expected.
Anyway as for the drawing itself,Since I know mostly squared-type lenses with round corners it's hard to me to picture any different sets of glasses but those seem fine. Also I love the pose and the way the labcoat seems to open around her from wind. That effect is impossible to make in real life, and I know that because I tried it extensively for a cosplay.

Well it would be a shame to waste the angle, right? Since you mentioned it, cosplayers use a wire mesh to get that kind of effect, right? Anyway, the image is complete!

You know your stuff HF. I have to hand it to you. Wire mesh... why have I never thought of that? wires, poles and whatnot. I tried those but without assistance it was impossible. The final pic is as grand as I imagined it to be. The shading in Tron's left leg looks a bit iffy but who am I to judge? I also adore the background. Very stylish. She almost makes the character from my avatar tremble under those glasses.

I heard some costumes had to be sewn shut over the person, making them one-off things... though they're definitely for absolutely serious cosplayers. Yeah... eventually I went back and redid it without the white highlights. I guess the don't work well on a light background (something I need to keep in mind!) Update: New page is up! These few pages will show off a bit of what I think went on inside City Hall while Rock was busy destroying Air Pirate machines and causing insane amounts of property damage (at least that's how I played it the first time...).

You know something badass is going to happen when there is an extreme close-up to the character's eyes... especially when you don't expect that character to have them in the first place XD
Now... will the cane explode when it falls on that poor servbot's hands?

Well damn, now I wish I went that route instead (is it too late?) I could admit right now that early drafts of Barell's cane was to be some sort of hidden Buster Gun (much like the use of hidden swords/blades in canes during Edo-era disarmament), but after some thought I decided to scrap the idea. As for why... please look forward to the next page tomorrow!

It weights a ton. I'm calling it right now. ... that or it hits the Servbot's face and Barrel takes ACTION MAN X... I mean, does something.

It weights a ton. I'm calling it right now. ... Well, damn! I hope you're not disappointed with the outcome with this week's update! Update: New page is up early, and so continues Barell's counterattack!I would also like to announce the new mechanics section featuring Vehicle Profiles! There has been a lot to go through, and as a new section I'm very open to any suggestions and criticism. So please shoot me some questions and suggestions if you got any, thanks everyone! So... Good enough?

Called it! Generic Dragonball Z thing I guess. If you don't mind me suggesting this. but you should have any sort of way of returning to the previous page (or select a different affiliation) when you are looking at a specific profile. It just beats hitting backspace I think.
Also... I see what you did there with the update mr.HF. But this ain't street Fighter. P.S. - That avatar now gives me the chills. Badass Granpa indeed.

RISING PHOENIX PUNCH!!! Or something like that, I'm just guessing XP Every character of this adaptation is really badass, I wonder if paprika will come back using a jet pack and shooting fire balls out of his mouth!

It just beats hitting backspace I think. Good point! I have added it to the Vehicles section just now. I also noticed that the sections' layouts got a little inconsistent as a result, but I'm working on it! Once the list grows, I plan on interlinking the related entries together (e.g. Drache's Base Model along with other Drache variants) much like a Wiki. On the topic of the Drache Base Model's "Did not appear in the original games" status, I believe vehicles are fair game for deviation. Unlike characters which easily affect narrative*, the presence of variants such as "civilian models" for common vehicles appeals to me as it expands on the vehicle culture and the important role it plays in the world-building aspect, not to mention how affordable vehicles are in the culture I'm aiming to establish. *Instead, I would rather flesh out the characters and expand on their depth and backstory with side-topics like digouter discrimination which I touched upon slightly. I would definitely like to go into more detail for a certain character already introduced. If Dr. Light can get away with Ansatsuken moves in two games, I don't see why gramps can't! RISING PHOENIX PUNCH!!! Or something like that, I'm just guessing XP Close! Now try reading that page while this track is playing. So... just like the Rush Jet stages in MM8? On that note, I have yet to decide whether he gets punted away or just shooed off...
