Warning: Neglect, abandonment and abuse are the themes in this piece of writing.
It is within this era,
the children no loger are happy.
Their parents of now think,
that they will not be successful,
and deny their needs of a good future.
What a child wants to be in the future,
A doctor, a fireman, even an artist,
the parents say "No!
I refuse to have a child such as this!
I will not let you go to college,
untill you find something else
than this silly dream!"
The parents of now,
do not understand,
the misery their offspring suffer.
They denied their need of happiness,
they denied their existence,
if they continued to pursue
their path of happiness.
And even if they object
to the negative words they say,
the parents of now,
will beat their children,
untill they succumb,
to the fog in their eyes.
