Also, another thing I should stress is that a Wii LAN Adapter is highly recommended. Otherwise any fights we have may end up being lag city, and nobody wants that.
EDIT: I'm on Shoryuken too?!?!

@ Buster Cannon: Normally when I play online against some people, I think the lag comes from their side since some of the other battles I've fought online have been relatively lag-free. (I got a wireless linksys network in my house. I think it works fine, when the bill for it's been paid. XD)

I added Buster and VolnuttChan, so next comes the arduous task of scheduling. I think weekends would be the only chance for me.
Also, I do use wireless, but it usually works without lag for me, except for the odd person. Hopefully you guys won't be among them.

That's good to know. Back at home I had wireless but the connection was great, so I had no worries. I'm a little skeptical about using the campus wi-fi, so I got a LAN Adapter as insurance. I hear that friend matches are generally better than the ones you get randomly, so hopefully this'll go well. Weekends are probably my best bet as well.

Weekends would work for me most of the time.
Some time soon, I'll get both friend codes added to my list over here, but for now, that's gonna have to wait until maybe..... Sunday evening. Darn. XD Or until my extended school break from Nov. 25-29.

Buster and I had some matches today. As expected, I wasn't much of a challenge to him. The record is at 8-2 (I think I counted ten matches). The two I won were in the latter half and I think by that point he was going easy on me. Lots of fun either way. I'll try to train quite a bit against Casshan and Volnutt before the next one.

I can say that lag was the reason for some unfinished combo and whatnot, but otherwise everything went well. I tested some other characters out, but Volnutt-Casshern's my main team.

On the topic of scheduling: Would it work better to add all TvC Wi-Fi players on an instant messenger like MSN or Yahoo so that it's more likely to get an instant reply on a possible battle date?
DARN IT. We already had that conversation. (And it took 4 days to catch that?!) Never mind~. But is it really only Buster, Raijin and I who's going to post their codes?

That's how BC and I found a timeframe. It looks like we all have MSN and/or AIM info in our board profiles too, so let's just go ahead and add each other.

Alright, I accepted the invitations you both sent. (I actually forgot I re-posted in this thread today. XP *is so smart*) I haven't been able to get on and add your friend codes yet, so it's gonna take a while before I can battle either of you.

VolnuttChan and I had our ten matches today. The record is at 6-4 for me. We were quite evenly matched for the most part. I continued to be all over the place except with Polimar and Volnutt, and she didn't seem to have a regular except I did notice Saki out there a time or two more than most. That Assist pressure really kept me on my toes.
I liked match 4 where we both, by odd chance, randomly selected Frank and Joe the Condor in that order.

Semi-regulars on my side tend to be Saki, Morrigan, Zero, Frank, Chun-Li, and Yatterman #1, but mostly Morrigan, Zero, and Frank.
But yes, battle #4 was funny (even though I was owned in that battle). BIRD MISSILES~!

I sucked when I first had it, too. (Since I terribly suck at fighting games period, it's understandable.) And if you want to schedule a battle with any of us, don't forget to add their MSN address for communication!
