I'll have to go with #6. Nice concept and use of obscure Legends events, and I found the wording in the second panel especially humorous with Wily’s expression.

Damn, some of these are just too good--it's like we just started withe Caption Contest all up again. Number's 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8 are really good entries, but I'll be voting for 5 this time. 7 was really close though.

I'm really liking this comic-caption contest. I choose to abstain my vote for Image 003 though, none caught my fancy. Hoping for the next batch.

I'll vote for #7. I think it's the best narrative to explain the images, though I can still appreciate the more absurd takes.
It's always hard to choose, but I feel worse about not voting in the end.

Could definitely use some more votes around here.
Entries wouldn't hurt either, though I'm hoping they pour in last minute like they sometimes do.
As for me, I would like #7 but Data's final comments aren't really suited to a thought bubble, it's something he should be saying out loud. I'm gonna go with #2 this time, with #8 as a close second.

3 probably would have had me if not for the grammar. Going with 4 on this one, though 6 was close.
I need to keep up with these things. Keep forgetting to send in my submission. :34:
And no matter what idea I come up with, I keep worrying someone else has already sent in the exact same thing... feh.
