I just recently discovered MMLA and still haven't haven't gotten over the effects of how freaking hilarious it was, so my vote goes directly to #1.

I'm going to vote for #3 this week, cooking the worlds largest french fries is always the perfect back up plan. ;D

Alright, so #1's MMLA reference punchline was quite hilarious- shame Barrel's supposedly trying to abstain from his former pyro-like tendencies. #2 also has a reference, but the panel-to-panel logic seems to suffer a bit for it. #3 has an amusing non-sequitar which while fun isn't particularly strong. #4 shows the Servbot trying to be tough even as its childlike nature gets in the way, which is typical of the little guys. In the end, I'll toss in a vote for #1 as well. : )

Okay, person-who-submitted-Entry 2, I'll take the bait. Consider yourself up-voted.

At each mention of MMLA throughout the week I couldn't seem to think of what it stood for. Yesterday I finally got it! That famous Abridged series I kept meaning to watch and meaning to watch and didn't... Well, I instantly watched the first two parts to get up to speed with the whole Barrel pryo thing... It kind of mixed up my opinions on this week's entries though, and in the end, it's late... I really can't pick one this week... *shamed* Image 035 Voting:Entry #1 by Dashe received 2 votes Entry #2 by Mikey received 2 votes Entry #3 by fAB received 2 votes Entry #4 by AvegodroWow, our first three-way tie! Congrats peoples! Image 036 Entries:Entry #1Entry #2Entry #3Entry #4Entry #5Entry #6Entry #7Participation is up this week, yay! Thank goodness. I'd be bummed if all that tedious coloring of the Mother Unit line art went to waste. Image 037Image contributions, anyone?

The Mother Units are too popular for their lineart coloring to have possibly been a waste! You don't really get to see much of them in these comic templates. Has 4panel participation ever broken 10 entries?
I like the concept behind #2 and #5, but I think #2 had the superior execution. In the end, it was a toss-up between #2, #1, and #6, but I'm going to have to ultimately go with #2.

Despite sliiiiiiight grammatical errors (regarding apostrophes) in the first bubble, #1 has claimed my vote, and VERY unfortunately, my laugh. Oh, the pity and irony of it all! unrelated (video) Don't feel bad about not voting last week btw fAB. You're not alone on that matter.

Right now I'm being rent in twain between #3 and #6. It's a tough decision but I can't help but ultimately choose #6 since any punchline with the word "mutton-chops" is simply an instant win in my book.
So I vote #6.
apostrophe'''s are so annoying

Nope, we've never broken 10 entries. Our highest weeks were #1 and #22, both with 9.
Well, might as well vote while I'm here... "Mars was a delicious treat, and I'm sure Saturn will be just as decadent. Mother units, bring me the universe, I want to eat it!" #3 ALMOST had me with that line.
Vote goes to #7 though. None of its individual bubbles are particularly striking to me but I like the whole.

WHOA I just realized, Sera's bubble in Entry 3 Panel 2 is way huger than the others! If fAB makes the bubbles and image, does that mean he'll edit the bubbles to fit the longer lines for those smaller bubbles? I was always trying to have them say just enough to not overfill it, or have the text wind up being too tiny.
(I at least wanted to point out the larger bubble. I didn't know that could be a part of the gameplay.)

My vote goes to #1, I can see the master just messing around like that. 'Super weapons and cultural differences to make it interesting' that is hilarious. ;D

Some good entries this week- and there are a lot of them, which is always good to see. Anyway, #1's Master line is kind of funny- in fact, the lines in general seem familiar somehow, but I can't seem to place it. #2 offers a humorous take on Sera's grudge, and a very...18th century line from the Master. #3 starts off a bit flatly typical, but takes a sudden turn with that whole 'eating planets' thing. #4's takes a 'Yuna and Sera as schoolchildren' perspective that is at first unique yet also seems out of place compared to the other entries. #5's unfortunately takes a familiar setup through no fault of the writer's own, so that adds a bit of an element of unfair comparison, sorry to say. : ( #6 makes me think of Yuna as one of those hyper-articulated figures you often see coming from Japan, and #7 is funny in light of the punchline of #1. XD Hm, hard to decide this week. Maybe I'll go for #3, just for the laughs. *shrug*
