Troxon? That's a very odd last name but I'd figure everybody who sticks with an alias as long as you have should at least have a last name too. I've gone through several but nothing usual sticks with me. Rage is sweet, simple, and to the point. I have friend named Troxclair but that has nothing to do with the present news at hand.
I refuse to say I was loyal down to my evil bones to this wonderful little site being as I haven't ventured on these forums for a good while. I think I stopped being active around 2007 or 2008. It's strange that's around the same time I joined the Marine Corps. Yet those where the good ol days where I had freedom. *sneaky eyes*
As far as thanking people I thank myself because I personally went to Capcom of Japan and held them up at buster point until they promised me my own personal sequel to the game.
Wait...that was a dream. Well, let us thank the people who've stayed loyal to these forums over the years and graced everybody with their presence.
Now that we finally have an official sequel, let's drink. It's RUM TIME. *twitch*
If Zero shows up in this game, I will riot and nobody will be able to stop me. MWHAHAHAH!?!?

Oh god! Rage I was just saying to Dashe and Green about how we needed you back to deal with all those people suggesting for Zero to be back in the game... I missed you man! Welcome back.

*waits for his turn*
Oh its me.. erm.. okay...
*Steps in the Podium*
I erm... I.. I like Megaman Legedns.. oh what am I saying.. I love Legends!
I may not know as much as you know guys.. or even I am not a fan for so long as you (about 2-3 years). But does that matter?
I live in a small country, in a tiny village surrounded by trees. Not much people of my age lived there... well no one has my age here. Still since the time I saw the NT Warrior anime I started to be interested in it... learned how to use the internet proprely and searched aaround when I discovered that that was just the small point of a huge iceberg.
As I searched around my affiliation trough the games also grew up. At that time I only knew Classic, X Battle Network and Zero series. (Star Force and ZX were released not much after this).
I got to know how to use a Nintendo 64 emulator proprely and I wanted to try Megaman 64 on it. Then a huge fanatism was born within me. I love the theme of thstory.. I always loved ancient artifacts and history, and I always see diggers as archeologists.
Little by little I got to know even more about this game... I played all of the 3 games and I loved them. Each second of them. It was so thrilling.
And so the aclaimed sequel by the fans has been announced... coicidence because I've applyed in teh Capcom Unity Suggestion box that day before that. Well, coicidence or not it was a shoking news and I got the feeling that this story will shake the entire VideoGame community... maybe I am exagerating?
With that said I just want to leave a message: Legends series are still about to come as long as us, the fans belive that they are a possibiility. And of course if they make huge profit for Capcom. XD

Good! We have our anti-Zero defense cannon in place. Welcome back, Rage! Don't worry! I shall take command of my old post on top of the Legends-Station building. If there is Zero fandom in the building or coming towards, it will get a taste of the RYNO VI.

Hey Rage, you missed me!
In truth I only like Zero cause he has a sword and everybody else has guns, and I'd just like to see how digging goes with your main weapon that has no ammo limit being a sword would feel, hence why I'm so blasted eager to see an MML zero concept. (Blade arm doesn't really count imo, seeing as it is a special weapon.)

It's been a long time, Rage. That would have been one heck of a hoot if that dream you described actually happened, brings back the good ol' days, it does... As for the Anti-Zero defense, yes, that would be necessary. While fan input will be taken to consideration, that means you'll have some work ahead of you if someone tries to suggest Zero being put in.. He's almost as good in coming back from the dead as LeChuck! Either way, it's good to see you, again.

Well said Dashe, watery eyes all around i think When i first ran into the series it didn't strike me as much, The misadventures of tron bonne was the first, i didn't manage to connect it with Megaman for a few years crazy as it seems, My Dad didn't really let me touch the case, and so i didn't realise it was a spin off. but then i found Legends Station, bought the games, and stuck with the hope that one day we might get the sequel we have all been hoping for, for so long. Heres To Our Year! I have also just drawn Tiesel in a suit at a podium in the middle of a sheet of character designs whilst daydreaming... seems to fit well with the tommy gun mobsters im working on so ill just leave it there

Here ye, here ye! Gather 'round for the highly-anticipated Legends 3 speech by none other than your local webmaster, fAB!
What's that you say? Legends 3 was announced over 2 weeks ago? It's pretty late in the game for this sort of thing? Personally I couldn't agree more, but it seems there are still citizens around this community who feel that I should lay out my thoughts on the subject even though I maintain only a minimally active presence these days.
Even as I type this I'm unsure what all I have to say on the subject. Legends and I have developed a very intense love-hate relationship over the years. Some of it may be disheartening, bitter, and/or negative so read at your own risk and no complaining if I kill anyone's enthusiastic buzz.
*clears throat*
I suppose it's often good to start with some history. My Mega Man fandom reaches all the way back to 1993, so even though I had no way of knowing how major a part of my life it would become, it was pretty sweet to be able to see magazine reports of a 3D Mega Man game on its way in '98. When the game finally came out I had a blast running around saving Kattelox Island from ruin. As much as I loved Mega Man and Mega Man X, this was waaay better. Naturally I kept tabs on the series' progression as best I could and had both Misadventures and Legends 2 as soon as I could get my hands on them. I never imagined while looking up at Elysium with “THE END” on the screen, that there would be no more of these awesome games to come for the next decade.
Quite a decade it's been, from 18 to 28-years-old for me. As far as Legends is concerned, I can't really say I've experienced the same lull in activity that most fans have. My wait for a sequel has been filled to the brim with all manner of things. I created Legends Station, a massive and ever-building site that has gone through several reinitializations along the way. I created The Main Gate, which started as something very different but has more or less become my personal fan project playground. And of course I created these forums along with all of you.
My Legends state-of-mind in all this time has been like the weather, constantly changing but always unpredictable. I've grown sick and tired of Legends and fallen in love with it all over again countless times. I've had eras where I'm brimming with happiness over everything in my life that has come about, both directly and indirectly as a result of Legends Station, as well as plenty of eras I wish I'd never made the damn site and signed myself on for the self-inflicted slavery that goes with it.
My stance on Legends 3 has been equally varied over the years, from waiting patiently, to waiting desperately, to not even wanting a sequel for fear of what the Capcom of more modern times might do to our beloved series. In more recent years, I've taken on more of an indifferent attitude about the whole thing. My feeling prior to the Legends 3 announcement was something to the effect of “I don't really care anymore if we get a sequel or not, but I still want it even if it sucks just so that we can all stop waiting for it.” Despite all the waiting though, I don't think I ever quit believing that Legends 3 would come eventually.
So here we are. The day did indeed come, eventually. Am I excited? Of course I am, but not overly. With that excitement comes a wide range of other emotions. Among them, I'm honestly not looking forward to all the work that's headed my way as webmaster of Legends Station. I also miss the quiet, little place we had around here that vanished the day of the announcement. Nothing against the new members. It's a change that was inevitable and it was probably about time this place got a new breath of life, but it's still the end of an era and I'm going to miss it.
And then there's the game itself... Other than the occasional Pokémon title, I haven't bought a new video game since Christmas 2004. No fooling. We've all changed a lot in the past 10 years, and I moved away from video games as my main artistic and inspirational source years ago. For Legends 3 though, my “I still want it even if it sucks just so that we can all stop waiting for it” attitude still stands and I will be purchasing a Nintendo 3DS for the occasion.
Will it suck? Will it rock? Don't know, it's way too early to tell. Aside from my natural aversion to online socializing (which is incidentally heightened by the surge of activity around here), I feel it's just way too early for me to go around voicing my opinions when we've heard so little and seen even less at this point. No offense intended to all you frequent posters out there, but it's just not my style. I'm glad that many of you are enjoying this period of early hype and speculation though. You should be, you've waited a long time for it.
I will say this though. Whether the whole devroom approach to this game turns out to be a revolution or a disaster, it's at least a very intriguing and unique concept. If Capcom uses it right, we could be looking at a game that far exceeds our wildest hopes for the series. It could also fail hard, but for now the potential is there and that's pretty darn cool.
I expect my excitement to grow with each new thing Capcom gives us to be excited about. Until then, I fall silently back into the shadows.

fab, thank you. You're amazingly awesome for doing this. Now excuse me while I go paint your entire wardrobe white...good luck hiding in the shadows! I definitely hear you on the "grown out of video games" front, though, and your description of the Devroom reminds me oddly of the Mother Lode. Is it a fabulous legendary treasure that would lead to an unending supply of energy? Or is it a catastrophe waiting to happen? Hopefully, our answer will be nicer than the real one in Legends 2 was. XD

Hah. That was totally worth bugging you about, fab. xD Seriously. That's pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear from you. (Better make sure that's glow-in-the-dark paint, Miss Dashe!) I get what you mean about having mixed/changing feelings about Legends 3 over time. (Been there; done that) I'm in that kind of “It's going to happen, so we'd better just hope for the best” frame of mind right now, personally. We'll just have to see where it goes. The wait is over either way. EDIT: You're not looking forward to expanding Legends Station to cover Legends 3, though? That surprised me. It's gonna be so cool! EDIT-EDIT:This also jumped out at me. It's true we're still far more active than we were before the announcement, but things have really slowed down since then. Things are going to change, sure, but I think we've still managed to retain our unique atmosphere here. We just finally have something to talk about.

I think between Dashe and fab's posts, I couldn't say it better myself.
So I won't.
All I'll say at this point is that I'm very excited, and I'm looking forward to seeing you fine folks, old and new, around the board.
