I created this because I wanted to know what console you really want the next installment of the Legends series on. Keep in mind price of the console and how many fans probably own the console. I chose PS2 because it is affordable and alot of Legends fans probably own the console.
PS: I didn't put Xbox or Gamecube in because it's harder to find those consoles and games for them. (Gamecube games are in the $20 section at Wal*Mart and at the ones near where I live you can't even buy Xbox consoles.

You kind of forgot the Nintendo Wii, which would be my personal choice due to it being a cheaper system... and the fact that I actually own one. It wouldn't need any form of motion sensory junk, of course, and a different controller scheme than the "general" nunchuk and mote is easily possible (look at SSB Brawl's many controller schemes or the easy implementation of the GCN controller on the old Bomberman game for the Virtual Console).
I doubt it would go on the PS2, however, as the PS3 has been out a while; if Capcom wants a new game, it'll be on a next-gen (current-gen?) system. Now I would probably say "I guess it would be for the PS3", but if Legends 3 is even made really depends how long the Network timeline holds out in sales: I blame Saturday morning cartoons influencing children...

I'm hoping for a 360 release, if anything.. I'm not actually hoping for a release at all, but I think 360 would work best.. It would transition pretty smoothly. Hell, a 360/PS3 dual release sounds good. 360 could really use a good solid Adventure title. I'd hate to see it on the Wii, that would just be weird(and I don't own, nor do I plan to buy a Wii).

Well... The thing about Wii is that if they made it for Wii, it would most definitly include the motion sensor feature. When you make a game like that it would take a larger amout of money to make, thus less consoles would be featured. I also don't know how they could possibly use the motion sesor feature on a Legends game.
Pretty much: Wii is all about the motion sensor feature, I believe the only way to incorperate the Wii-mote is by making it a first-person shooter and heaven forbid it be an FPS.
That is why I did not include Nintendo Wii.

They could probably come up with something better than an FPS for the Wii.. but it would still suck. XD If they could do something entirely sans-motion sensor, that would work for me.. but they can do that on the other two consoles easily.

I'd kind of like it to be on the PS2 myself, even if it is highly doubtful it would happen. It would require a decent visual update (which Legends was long overdue for), but not a major overhaul the way it would if it were on the 360 or the PS3. The Wii seems like the best marketing ploy from an economic standpoint, but the motion sensor would interfere with the control scheme, and it's unlikely that Capcom would opt to bypass it in favor of a more traditional control layout when the Wii's big campaign rests predominantly on the Wiimote's motion-sensing functions.
I don't think it'll happen, but if MML3 is released, I'd go out and buy whatever console it's coming out for posthaste. I'm actually with Green on the 360/PS3 dual-release, with a PS2 version thrown into the mix for everyone stuck in the last gen, but unless Keiji Inafune gets a buttload of cash thrown his way, it just isn't going to get made.

I would like for Legends 3 to be on PS2, since I have one and everything. But I think it would be better for it to be on the PS3 or 360, instead of being on a last gen system. If it's on PS3 I would go and buy one, after saving up for many years, but if it's on 360 I'm all set, I already have one. It could look pretty good graphic wise, if they actually wanted it to.
I wouldn't really want it to be on the Wii. I mean pretending to be Mega Man shooting with his buster gun would be cool (and I would be totally into it XD), but the controls would be weird on the Wii, I guess. They couldn't take it as far graphic wise either, but I know graphics don't make a game, but I think it helps a bit. =P
In the end it doesn't matter which system it comes out for, I would eventually find a way to buy it.

If you give it a thought, they would probably put on the PS2 because it might not sell much. However, I would like to see it on the 360 because it would be the first 360 Megaman game. not ot mention all of the other huge capcom titles on it.

Why not all three? 360, PS3, and Wii. I plan on buying a Wii myself, primarily for SSBB, and adding a new Legends into it would MAKE MY DAY. The controls were awkward in the first game as well, so that shouldn't be as much of a problem.
WAIT WAIT WAIT I JUST HAD A BRAIN THING.
What possible reason would they have to put it on the PS3? They cost a ton, they're selling point is good graphics and extra junk nobody asked for, and Keiji himself stated that he didn't want it on the PS3.
P.S. I love how ironic your sig is, Green.

The three console release I believe would be a problem. At least, they couldn't do the same game across three consoles. Games are relatively easily pushed for the 360 and PS3 at the same time because of similar controllers, and their powerful specs. The specs difference would be a problem. To release it on all three consoles could only really work two ways:
1: PS3→Best Version, 360→Good Version, Wii→Bad Version 2: All three→Bad Version
That is speaking strictly in terms of graphical and otherwise visual terms. To be easily spread over the three consoles, it would have to be a really really crappy-looking game. Otherwise they'd almost have to make one version for the 360/PS3 and then a separate version for Wii. And if there's one thing we've learned over the past few years it's that you DON'T encourage Capcom to continue making multiple-version games.
As for a reason to put it on the PS3.. well how about the fact that MegaMan Legends originated on the Playstation? And the fact that after all these years, Sony still has the same controller. XD
And well, yeah.
p.s. that was the idea ;P

Umm... Goopygoo... Why would they put it on 3 next gen. consoles when they are complaining about not enough money now? Heck, if they don't have enough money to just put it on PS2 that would probably make them loose all their money.

I voted DS. They could keep the simplistic graphics(which I would prefer over overly refined versions if they used next/current generation consoles), they could add some nice minigames with the touchscreen, online games(Jet Skate Race, Dueling, and Trading, maybe?), etc. Also, production costs would be a lot cheaper(as would the game's cost).

Trading sounds cool. Like, buster parts or special weapons or something...
Honestly though, I think it would be better off on the PS3. Like Green said, we'll already have the basic control scheme back, although I would prefer changing a few of the mehcanics. The only downside is the PS3's high price.
I guess it all depends on the genre too. If it would lean towards being a shooter, than the 360, and to a lesser extent, the PS3 controller would suite it perfectly. If it would lean more towards an adventure type game, than I'd prefer it be on the PS3 or at the least, the Wii. I don't really care about the graphical capabilities. In fact, the Wii could pull it off and it would certainly look great, I just don't want them thinking up some wierd control scheme that would make the mechanics seem even more awkward the the PSX version. As for the 360, well its too much of a popular console, we don't want Megaman Legends getting all mainstream now, do we? Also, the 360 is filled with dark and bloody games that all appeal to a 'mature' audience. Only mentionning a game like Vive Pinata, which is criticially acclaimed, to my friends results in cries of laughter and disgust. I doubt Megaman Legends could survive in a market of gritty FPSs.
Basically, I would rather see it either on the PS3 or Wii, most likely the PS3 though.

I wish I could change my vote. Why have you tricked me, Sony? You will die now and I'll destroy your evil PSP.
I would love it on the PS2 being as the legends doesn't need to have the crazy high depth graphics. Alot of people own a PS2 and it is kind of cheap now exclude the Game Cube. Mega man legends was originally on the Playstation and they could have the same controls. That would be good for us but not for the newcomers. So they would have to change the controls a little bit. At least, it would be one of the great games that could come out before Sony and other gaming companies stop making games for the PS2.
