well, I own a psp. Its not really that bad. I agree its games are not too good, and umd movies are 2x price of DVDs which is insane(I dont buy those) but I like it. Its great for emulators and watching uploaded movies and stuff. And internet browsing! Im typing this from my PSP right now (although its taking 15 minutes longer than it should) For me its a great purchase especially now that legends is slated for a psp release

Hmmm...well, as long as DASH can be played on an American PSP, I suppose I could always order it off ebay or something and play it on someone else's PSP. That, and a Japanese copy could one day become a collector's item here in the states. If I ever get a job I'll try and import DASH, mmkay?

Yes, we must buy a copy, PSP or not. The fate of this series is depending on the sales of the games. this could be our last chance..

As much as I hate to admit that this might indeed be our last chance at another Legends, we can't afford to take any risks. So far we have Inafune on our side (I'm pretty sure as of now he is on our side), but Inafune doesn't control Capcom, money does.
On the bright side, DASH2 is supposed to get on the PSP in a week ;D!

Once more, this negativity saddens me.. : Be positive, people! Okay, so Capcom thinks in terms of money, so then why would they re-release a dead series on the PSP? Albeit, yes, they were lazy about it from what I've read, but yeah, it's a dead series. I honestly don't know why we were expecting anything more than a straight unaltered port. But it WAS released. They'd HAVE to have some motive for releasing it, be it rebuilding a fanbase, explaining a cameo(I kinda doubt this one), or what have you. I personally believe the former. If it sells, they'll make more. If we buy it, it will sell. Simple, yes? ...too simple. I suggest people buy the ports, show them to your friends, spread it all around, and then BOMBARD Capcom with fanmail!! WAHAHAHAHAAAAAAH! ...okay, yes. Yeah, I mean if it sells and fans give it a good response, they're bound to see the potential in it. I mean, it's worth a shot. I mean, honestly, have we like not been waiting for something, ANYHTING, Legends-related to happen for like 6 years? And now someting happens and we're not going to do anything about it? Or even worse, we're getting all down about it? o.O I'm really failing to see the logic. You do realize that Rockman DASH made a monumental killing in Japan. So even if Legends 3 is made, it might be a Japan-only game.

Yeah, I've been pointing that out left and right these days since we won't be seeing the ports anywhere else but Japan. Even if the Japanese did get a DASH 3, the chances of us getting it are slim to null unless Capcom puts it out on another portable... Not likely. Releasing a sequel to a series stagnant now for almost six years, would be pointless, unless they're gunna include the first two games with it, and they wouldn't do that in 200X years. (EDIT: I dunno why you'd respond to that post... it's from the first page... )

I believe that is one of the purpose of the DASH 1 and 2 PSP Ports. Most likely to measure the DASH Fanbase to see if a sequel is money worthy, and/or to rekindle people's memory of what happen, but hey, who seriously can't forget the ending of Legends 2. -_-

Yeah, but there's a whole new generation of gamers now.. gamers who haven't played Legends. The 2nd game was big as far as plot goes, playing any sequel without knowing and understanding Legends 2 would be like.. >.< ya know?

I could imagine some little kid popping in MML3, and thinking "why's Mega Man on the moon? Who are those girls yelling about the rocket? What's a carbon? I don't understand this game! I'm returning it to the store!" If we don't get these ports, we aren't getting MML3. Porting a MML3 over here without a re-re-release of 1 & 2 would be financial suicide for Capcom. And sadly from the looks of things, the first two games aren't going to get exported over here...which is a shame, because the PSP could use a good anime adventure/action/platformer/RPG hybrid of Legends's caliber. As much as I'd like to purchase a DASH3, I don't think I'll be able to if it's for a system I don't own in a language I don't understand...

I'm pretty sure us not getting the port is Sony's doing. I saw an article on IGN about Sony saying No to direct ports of games, at least in America. Yeah, here it is. I hope that's changed, but yeah, I dunno... just seems oddly convenient. But yeah, no ports makes no sense, unless we get no sequel. So yeah. Better get on Capcom's case about a DS version

I think we should set our focuses to getting Capcom Of America release the PSP ports of Mega Man Legends and Mega Man Legends 2 to America. Then when it's out and sells, we pursuit them to making a DASH 3. What do you think?

Well, everyone who's emailed COA's gotten a bland, generic auto-reply in return, so I don't see how that'll get anything done. Still, it couldn't hurt...after all, we're nearly desperate. -_- Like Pitch said, if Sony's against direct ports, are we going to end up those Gunstar Heroes fans who had to wait over 10 years for a sequel, or even worse, like those Earthbound fans who've STILL yet to hear an inkling of word for one (I think I've used this analogy before...yep, an oldie but goodie. At least it fits.) I don't think it's fair at all! The fate of the games in this country depends almost solely on these ports! Does Sony realize this at all?

I could get into why Sony doesn't want direct ports, but that'd be a huge biased waste of time. Plus mailing Capcom of America's never proven useful at all that I've seen. I've done it twice and gotten crap. I've seen many others do the same. Maybe if we could get CoJ to make a DS version and Nintendo won't be so egotistical moronic short-sighted selective, we may see it over here. (Misinterpereted Info!! Removed!) (Woo-hoo!! 1,100!!)
