What do you mean by "give it a rest?" Does that mean you're saying they should go and make another Mega Man Legends? Anyway, they've kept us waiting long enough. I just hope they don't keep us waiting so long that by the time they decide to begin working on the project, we've all got gray hair, wrinkles, and dentures. I'm really cheesed off that there's next to NO indication of how well DASH PSP's selling in Japan despite its being out for nearly a month now, especially since DASH2 is well on its way, and NO confirmation as to whether or not we Lucky Legends Fanatics will actually get an English version. They'd better not rip us off like they did with Namco x Capcom, or I'll be really, really mad! This is a perfect opportunity to expand the Legends US fanbase, and I'd hate to see Capcom waste it.

Phunny you should say that... hasn't someone pointed to something indicating that the port was selling well, somewhere on the boards? And on another note, I thought it had been announced that the port would be coming here but at a much later date. o.O Of course, there's always the possible chance that I may've just finally lost my mind. .. =/ ya never know, these days. ign.com has a feature it does every so much weeks called Gaming Life in Japan. Its exactly what it sounds like. It's a bunch of pages of of the things those crazy japs are into at the time. They have a page dedicated to game promos and a page for sales charts(also most wanted stuff). So the next edition I should be able to see if it's in the to 20 or so. I can't really remember what number it goes down too. Well heres hoping it make it on the list. UPDATE: Actually... scratch that. They just had one the twelth. They only have the top ten but they mention briefly the further downs 11: Power Pocket Koushien (Konami, DS) 16: Pachinko Ultra Seven Pachitte Chonmage Tatsujin 8 (Huckberry, PS2) 17: Taiko no Tatsujin Portable (Namco, PSP) 25: Taiko no Tatsujin Tobikkiri! Anime Special (Namco, PS2) 29: B-Densetsu! Battle B-Daman (Atlus, GBA) 30: Bomberman Land 3 (Hudson, PS2) 31: Mega Man Dash (Capcom, PSP)Huray!!! it's not doing like complete crap. Thats actaully prety good. 31. It's ahead a whole bunch. EDIT: you said "next to" no indication. My bad. GameFAQs says that the english version is TBA though. That means it's actually coming, we just don't know when I think, since it doesn't say a thing about the MML2 port.

I actually said that I saw a US release date of March 20, 2006 in REEEEEEEEEAALLLLLY tiny print somewhere on the 1up.com page, but I don't know how reliable 1up.com is and am kind of skeptical about their information because I'd never heard of them until I saw the link to the MML PSP reviews. And the REEEEEEEEEAALLLLLY tiny size of the print made me a little more skeptical about it. If they were THAT sure, they'd have probably made it bigger.

1up is underground I guess if you compare it to Gamespot and ign. So I guess they are more likely to mess up but I trust them pretty good. Still Gamespot is the best site because you really get to know the editors so you know when you should listen to them or not.

If they ARE waiting until March, they're probably doing SOMETHING to the game in the process, otherwise we'd have it by December. If they are planning something for the US release though, it does seem somewhat logical seeing as Americans in general seem to value graphics and sound more than gameplay They might be thinking, "if we just give them yet another direct port of this game they'll pass it over in favor of other games with more up-to-date graphics and more bells and whistles, so let's at least smooth out some of those textures and give them stuff to do that wasn't in the game the first three times we released it over there. That way those annoying brats on that Mega Man Legends Station forum will at least have somewhat of a chance of getting that... sequel they've been pestering us about for so long..." Ok, so maybe that isn't what they're thinking. The way I figure it, if we still don't have any information on the game by January, we probably aren't getting it unless they're planning some kind of HUGE surprise that would cause them to extend the release date. Which, unfortunately, is highly unlikely assuming I know Capcom's thought processes as well as I think I know them (which isn't saying much, but still...). Then again, I'm still fuming about NxC so I'm not exactly one to talk.

I kinda doubt that goodcrappy ol' CoA will do anything special to the game if CoJ wouldn't. But let's hope so.
I don't really see why we wouldn't get the port though. If sony wants to be really smart about thier stupid PSP, they should do like a mass re-release of all sorts of games from before. But ultimately it's up to Capcom, and well yeah. I just doubt that Capcom of America - bloody americans... oh wait I'm american - would actually put any extra effort into something that wouldn't sell on its own. Of course, mayhaps if it sells uber well in Japan, they'll revamp it and then we'll see that. ...when hell freezes over.

Maybe they do have sales reports and reviews up somewhere, in Japanese, which nobody has noticed because nobody thus far can really read it. Dang, I wish I could read something in Japanese other than "Toron" in kanji! (Hey, at least I'll know if some Japanese person was talking about Tron).

I know how to read yama which means mountain. But thats kinda useless.
I think the port will come over here. Because since its a direct port it's not that much work. Or maybe they do what Dashe thinks. Maybe they got some sense in them and see that people didn't accept Legends back then because "It wasn't Megaman". But whatever, we should of all imported it from Japan so it would have a higher ranking.

Just a random thought, but can kanji characters not have multiple meanings? The kanji for Toron could mean any number of things, couldn't it? I happen to know that there are hundreds, if not thousands of kanji for the character 'ki' alone, all of which have a different meaning. When they used the kanji for her name, they could ahve been speaking literally. Unless it was mentioned with DASH, or in some Legends context, I wouldn't think that they're actually referring to Tron. o.o

Darfox- Buying a game for a system I don't plan on getting for a while is one thing. Importing said game (which probably wouldn't even play on an American PSP) while it's still in a language I don't understand...now THAT is just nuts. mltmlt22- Oh great, now whenever I write "Toron" in kanji I have to worry about whether I'm actually writing "Tron" or something entirely different, like "Windex..." And to think, I thought I actually had something going there. Anyway, what is on the agenda for the Battle Network Team? I know they've got MMBN6 to contend with (which, I've heard, has once again got MULTIPLE VERSIONS, stupid Crapcom, why can't you just make ONE version? ) If there are currently no imminent plans for MMBN7, it could mean that they're getting ready for another MML...just a thought, but man, the sound of a possible MMBN7 scares me. How old is this series again!?

Looking at the game's site, they seemed to have intended the name to be written in katakana, which makes since, since it's not a Japanese name. But yes, I'm sure now of what I said earlier. You can't properly write her name in kanji because her name has no meaning. From what I know, kanji is only used when meanings were intended. For example, my name means something to the effect of 'Hawk's Perch', or 'Hawk's Place', so I can use kanji, so long as it is the kanji that means that. Otherwise, it would be referring to something else, be it a different person, or simply the literal meaning. Tron would simply be ƒgƒƒ“.
Just for fun, I think I'll look up what some of the different meanings the kanjis for 'Tron' could take...
Edit: Shoot, it doesn't seem to want to post the characters...

Yes it does play on American PSP and... tell Pitch that. >.> The point of that being? I've known PSP games aren't region protected for ages. I'm buying the game if it ever comes here, but I won't have enough for a PSP for a long time. I probably should import though. That way I getta shoot animals, and see MegaMan celebrate when he sees his sister naked!

No I didn't mean to tell Pitch that it could play Jap games I meant tell Pitch that "buying a game for a system I don't plan on getting" is crazy.

Oh. But, not supporting a game series you love is crazy. Especially one whose future could be solely dependant on sales. I'll get a PSP eventually but honestly, it's called prioritizing. I'd sooner support Legends than Sony. That much should be obvious at this point.
