Well, as many of you know, untill early this year, I had an iMac as my sole computer source. Everything worked fine. But I dunno, I haven't used my mac on these forums since they've been updated to version 4. DO YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I SWITCHED FROM MAC TO PC?!?!?! CAUSE MAC IS COMPATIBLE WITH NOTHING!!!!

I'd figure... It's all about Windows these days, and even they are getting bad. My XP is so bogged by all the extra programs and whatever other garbage they felt compelled to shovel into the programming that my old 98 can load pages at least twice as fast, and it's over 6 years old with a nearly full hard drive.
Windows is compatible with just about everything. I wouldn't bother with anything else myself.

Can't use forum features on mac? What the heck are you talking about? Older macs? Safari for mac tiger 10.4.1 is fine, along with microsofts mac internet explorer... And virtual pc is probably slow, considering its an operating system emulator. Although, when my windows pc crashed, i needed to rely on my mac emulator to keep me on the net. There were some cool things, but i do feel much better to be back in windows.

thats... odd.... I can use any button fine.... Oh well. Virtual pc does work fine, and theres one you can buy from microsoft. REMEMBER!!! Virtual PC's require you to have a copy of Windows!!! Type the codes yourself. Here are few [/b] | Start Bold End Image[/img] | Start Image For image tags, put the url between them. End Code [/code] | Start code [/quote]

They work ok for an office computer, graphics+design mainly, but they dont work well with games, webcams or certain internet pages and downloads.

ForteWily would kill me for saying this, but... *pokes his head around to make sure she isn't a member here*.... I honestly think that Macintosh is a complete and utter waste of time and money. IMO, if you're gonna buy a computer, then at least buy a REAL computer.

lol, that's right, she is a Mac user isn't she? Well, I honestly I have never tried a Mac, but yeah.. too limited. I hear Linux is okay though. Anyway, if you're having trouble with the BBCode font buttons, you could easily look up a guide - though I'm not sure why those wouldn't work since they're javascript, just like the emoticons. But here's a brief rundown of all the buttons that aren't annoying. is for bold is for italics is for underline
is for strike through text
