On the logo I mean. If you don’t know which images I’m speaking of… www.legends-station.com/mainpic1.jpgThe art there at least matches that of the ‘official artwork’ content in terms of quality. Was it created by someone here? And if possible, where would I find this and/or similar artwork?

Yay! I'm a Sharukurusu! Anyway, I think fab used official art and placed the logo name on it. Or he could have drawn it, but I think that's official art.

From what I can tell, most of it could indeed be fab’s work… I’m fairly sure that the Gesellschaft and the Flutter up in the corner are official pieces, but the other machines lack one feature that the official art doesn’t. In other words, the proof is in the eyes… or whatever those things are. You’ll notice that Capcom always draws the “eyes” of the machines in a bit more detail than the machines displayed on the front page. The ones on the front page have a bit more of a solid red whereas the Capcom official art has it looking almost like an eye in that the “eye” has a darkened center which resembles a pupil ( see here) and they almost always have a glint of light in the upper left corner of the eye. The ones in the front page pic (minus the two airships) lack this feature which leads me to believe that either fab or someone else drew them. It’s possible as fab’s art has improved quite a bit (for example, his rendition of the Feldinaut on Sneasel Plushie does include a more capcomesque style). Of course, I could be completely wrong. I wouldn’t be surprised… All in all, only fab and everyone who really knows really knows, but I’d bet when he comes around he’ll tell you everything. (Edit: Ahem, well… upon closer inspection of the Bonne machines, not all of them have the eye effect, but nonetheless, the “eyes” on the other machines aren’t shaded as they usually are in the official art so it still could be fab or someone else.
That, and the official art models and front page models differ. For example, the official Marlwolf art has no bolts around the top of its head (and does have the eye effect…) and the in-game Marlwolf only has a few spaced out bolts (no eye effect though), but the one on the front page has quite a few bolts around the head (and the eyes are solid red). The colours of the machines also vary slightly. The Barukon is more of a purple in both art and game, but on the front page the Barukon is a shade of magenta or maybe dark red (I'm not artist so I don't know my colour names)… yeah, anyways. *hits self*. I shall pay closer attention from now on… I hope.) And a small note. The art is quite good; I’m just pointing this stuff out to support my “fab/somebody not from Capcom made it” theory.

Thanks very much for the indirect compliments GustaffGlyde. ;D Dang, now you've put the urge in me to draw these awesome Bonne machines, but alas, I cannot claim these for my own. They are official. I know they don't have the same style as what we're used to, but Capcom does have more than one artist I'm sure, so anything that comes from Capcom is considered "official". I have a number of rare pieces such as those on the home page, as well as several which have been included in Launch the Draches' gallery. You'll probably note they are of the same style. So far I have kept the source of these a secret, and intend to keep it that way until I get around to posting ALL of this stuff properly in the Legends Station gallery. So sue me, a webmaster likes to have new stuff before everyone else, and if I reveal the source too soon, then the art will start floating around the Internet before MMLS gets credit for having it first.

I see. Well, thank you, I'll be looking forward to the day you post them up, prince fab. Also, I checked your website, that Sneasel Plushie place. There is some very impressive art there, and the backgrounds/coloring for the images are done very well, of particular note those in the True Art series. You have my compliments.
