Explorers of Sky, being the younger sibling of Darkness and Time, has a few interesting additions, such as the Spinda Bar (where you can bring out the TRUE potential of your gummies and vitamins), and another small Shaymin Storyline. What's REALLY interesting, however, are the special side-stories you unlock while playing the main storyline. Ever asked yourself these questions?- Exactly how young was Wigglytuff before he became an exploration prodigy?
- Did you know Bidoof has actually seen Jirachi?
- Did you know Sunflora assisted in the capture of the notorious and mysterious Haunter who would not faint?
- How exactly did Team Charm begin becoming so successful, and why are they enemies of team AWD? [Arbok, Weavile, Drapion]?
and last but not least, - Grovyle forced Dusknoir through the time portal back to their time up at the peak of Hidden Land. What is happening in the future as our heroes climb Temporal Tower?
All five of these questions are answered by the special episodes in Explorers of Sky, and I could not have been more impressed. If Steffie gives a 10/10 to Darkness, she would likely give 11/10 to Sky, because THAT's how impressed I was, how longing for more, and close to crying I was. (that's my own rating too by the way. )

I'm not sure if it was possible in Dark/Time, but your quiz can also let you become Riolu (in Sky), and I believe that one of the partners you choose can be (him) also. I've discovered you can "tweak" the friend list by selecting a random partner from what they give you, and choosing "no", which has the potential to display new partners. I got Riolu this way, and named him Teslo, based off of a pokemon OC of someone I RP'd pokemon with (yeah yeah REALLY lame right?) about a year ago... The one thing you'll wanna consider is the difficulty of evolution it'll be for you/him later on, as getting a sun ribbon isn't as easy as you'd think. edit: His IQ set is pretty intense though, amplifying attack and special attack, but bringing down defense and sp. defense, so that's also something to consider. Taking down most pokemon with a single Brick Break and watching over 400 hit points in super effectives is pretty awesome in itself.

Last game I beat recently was Mega Man Rush Marine and yet I never got that achievement for beating every level without exiting the application.

I beat the Resident Evil Gamecube remake Sunday with my friend Kale, he's coming over today and we are going to start on Resident Evil Zero
The REmake I thought was better than the original. Better graphics (durr) more features, scarier, one more boss fight, different puzzles, and non-sucky voice acting.

Zombie Panic in Wonderland on Wiiware. Pretty decent arcade shooter, IMO. Now I'm working to 100% Super Meat Boy.

Hmm? That's a bit of a strange way to think about it. The Johto part is much longer than the Kanto part, so maybe that counts as a “first story,” but Kanto probably shouldn't count for as much of a story on its own. All the real adventures to be had in Kanto have been had already. It's more of an epilogue — it's a post-game playground of sorts. It's a bonus stage, done absolutely, mind-blowingly right. <3 (Oh man, back in the day that was so cool... [/nostalgia_googles]) Right. Anyway, would you be up for a battle sometime? Been a while since I had a battle. Well, since you get a credits scene for beating the Elite Four, and another credits scene for beating Red, you can reasonably consider it to have two stories. And, uh, sure. I'd love to have a battle sometime. I HAVE just beaten the 'second story', i.e, trounced Red.

Quote from 2010 Fatman? Pitch is more of a lurker nowadays, and man, we had a lot of fun exchanging pokemon to add pages to his dex. We also caught the Johto Rayquaza, something that can only be done through exchange of the Soul Silver Groudon and the Heart Gold Kyogre (migration from Hoenn doesn't work. they have to be caught IN Johto, and IN the corresponding games). It was puh-retty sweet. As for battling, I'm more than willing to look for more people to analyze and have fun with.

I forgot Pitch was the lurky-type, can you blame me? And yes, I knew that was how it worked. I already got the Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza sidequest down packed, and right now I'm focused on other sidequests. Like the Ilex Forest Celebi sidequest, with which you get to fight Giovanni. Anyway, I've beaten the Kanto story in SoulSilver, as well as having beaten Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Classic Mode several times and the Subspace Emissary story on Easy and Normal, with a couple stages cleared on Intense for Sticker acquisition only. I'm currently focused on Megaman Legends and Megaman Legends 2 through ePSXe (OH YEAH), as well as the Marathon Trilogy starting with Marathon. If you've never heard of Marathon before, then this is all the information you need. Basically, it's a FPS that was made by Bungie, the guys who would go on to make Oni and the infamous Halo series. I'm playing it through Aleph One, an open-source Windows/Mac OS X/Linux game engine based on Marathon 2's code.

I forgot Pitch was the lurky-type, can you blame me? I am whatever type I need to be, whenever I need to be it. Yeah, Mikey helped me fill my Pokédex in a HUGE way, helping me get no fewer than twenty-one pages — mostly from Hoenn/Sinnoh's excessively excessive pool of legendaries.. Thanks to him and fAB (who set me up with Sableye), and Buster Cannon (who set me up with Arceus so I could do the Sinjoh Ruins in-game event to get Giratina), my legitimate Pokédex now stands at a fierce 489/493. The only Pokémon remaining are Celebi, Feebas, Milotic and Spiritomb. Celebi will be given away at GameStop from February 21 to March 7, just so you know. The other three Pokémon I have to catch are all from the Pokéwalker, but unfortunately it's going be a while for those because I'm still not even halfway to the final stage. Yesterday I worked up quite a bit of watts though. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 900+ watts from some 13,500 steps and four 50 watt bonuses, one 20 watt bonus and one ten watt bonus. ^__^ If I could keep up like that I could have my Pokédex full in a little more than a month. ... but I can't. So it's gonna be a while. Fortunately, the weather's been nice for a while, so it's been easier to justify walking to different places outside, at least. I've been into Pokémon again for a while, so I'm still down to battle. PM if you're ever interested and we can swap friend codes and I'll tear you to pieces. I've been trying to raise a few new ones for my team lately, but it's so hard to find a good slot for them to occupy without throwing off the synergy of my team. I threw together this hilariously silly image so you can see all the Pokémons I've EV trained. It's a bit out of date at the moment. I've also got a Cloyster I need to stick in there somewhere. Actually, if anyone's interested, you can watch me battle Trege on Youtube. Don't expect me to upload many battle videos though, because it was a huge pain. :01: What was this topic about? Oh, right... The last game I beat was MegaMan Battle Network 5 Double Team DS. I played Team ProtoMan and I thoroughly loved that game. The plot was a bit rubbish, like the plot in MMBN4. Most of the game revolves around assembling the Team, then things really get going toward the end. It's an OK way to handle a story, but not great when you consider that the team-assembly scenarios are interchangeable between versions and whatnot. ( Definitely better than the way MMBN4 handled things though...) Either way I thought the characters were written pretty well, so that you can tell that Lan isn't the same dumb kid from the first game, Chaud isn't the same arrogant jerk, and everyone else really shows some signs of development really. It was nothing super spectacular or anything, but it's not something I would've expected from Battle Network and not something I'm used to seeing in any other MegaMan series, really. Change is not Capcom's style. It's got me psyched to start up MegaMan Battle Network 6 as soon as I finish this one... I haven't finished the game yet, because it's just too painful to play on a DS that doesn't have working shoulder buttons. (How I even finished the story mode I couldn't tell you) So I'm waiting to pick up my 3DS before I start tearing into the Nebula ’net, which much to my dismay is a bunch more liberation missions.. @__@ (Liberation missions weren't half as bad as I thought they'd be, but these ones look tough!) As soon as I get my 3DS I'm gonna be playing MegaMan games like nobody's business. After I finish this up, I'm gonna move on to MMBN6; maybe mix in MegaMan Zero 2. After that I've got the other two MegaMan Zero games to go, and Megaman Network Transmission on GameCube, and then I've the first two Star Force games lined up to play too. Oh, and MegaMan 10. I keep forgetting about that one. (I've found it's pretty forgettable) It's too bad I bought nearly all of these used so Capcom didn't really see a dime for most of them. ... :37: Man, but with all the cool 3DS games I've been hearing about, I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get around to playing half of these games in the first place. Meanwhile, I've started working my way through Monster Hunter, although I don't think I'll ever actually be “done” with that game. I suck at it pretty badly, I must say. I've finally gotten to the point where I'm not being slaughtered by Giadromes, but then whatever's next kicks my ass. Friggin' Congalala. I've tried grinding like crazy to level my equipment but it only seems to help so much. This Monster Hunter stuff is serious business. I also started up on Advance Wars: Dual Strike, which was one of my favorite DS games way, way back in the day before some jerk stole it from me. I bought it and the sequel a month or so ago at GameStop. (Buy 2 Get 1 Free sales are awesome) I don't know if I'm going to be finishing it any time soon, because I have a bit of work to do for the next few weeks though.. and it can be downright tricky at times. But it's pretty phun anyway.

In the last two weeks I've beaten Fallout New Vegas 3 times, and Demon's souls twice. Both fantastic free roam RPG's. Also, did you and Trege not have a Ninetails V Arcanine match? Also great progress on that poke'dex.

Poor Ninetails never saw it coming... Hyper Beams, Dark Pulses, and Natural Gifts just aren't enough up against the might of Arcanine. Attack > Sp. Attack. :23: Pitch did upload it to WFC, but we couldn't find it after so long, they apparently delete the videos if they get to old... or something? They're lame. But still, he re-uploaded (both) and I watched Ninetails get torn to bits. Twice.

Also, did you and Trege not have a Ninetails V Arcanine match? Two matches actually. And two victories for my Arcanine. I may upload them to youtube if there's sufficient demand for it, but it's really a hassle to do that. Between recording the video, injecting music, uploading and annotating the thing, I ended up watching that one video probably more than thirty times. I could probably cut it down to ten times now that I know what I'm doing, but that's still a big pain. If anyone has access to/wants to see the videos on the GTS (in 1-to-1 quality, mind you), the video codes are: 59-62184-79623 and 40-65423-73225. Of course, these codes aren't permanent. (I found this out at the cost of some of my classic battle videos :01: ) So maybe I will upload these to youtube, I don't know. Poor Ninetails never saw it coming... Hyper Beams, Dark Pulses, and Natural Gifts just aren't enough up against the might of Arcanine. Attack > Sp. Attack. :23: Naaah... Ninetales Special Attack is scary. I never would've expected Trege to go for a staight up attacking strategy though. Ninetales' Speed is better than Arcanine's so in theory he has the advantage, but Arcanine has ExtremeSpeed as a priority move and about the only thing to hit Ninetales with, so if I'd slapped a Choice Band on him, I could've mopped the floor with Ninetales in two turns, probably. Arcanine's got decent Special Defense and a bit of bulk, so Ninetales wouldn't OHKO me with anything it has, so the battle would be mine. I used the strategy you can see in the video because I was expecting to be up against status moves. That's why I keep setting up subs and attacking from behind them. Aye, thanks. It's all legitimate too. Nearly every Pokémon I could capture on my own, I did capture on my own (including Safari Zone Pokémon that took 100 days of waiting, Pokéwalker Pokémon and in-game special event Pokémon and probably a few more specific little cases), with very few relatively insignificant exceptions. And everyone I traded with was someone I know from here; no random trades on the GTS for Pokédex or asking for Pokémon from random people on GameFAQs or whatever other lame alternatives there might be. I can't wait to get Celebi next week — like when I got Mew October, it will be the first time I've had one legitimately. ^__^ And it will be my last Pokédex page from Johto. But it's going to take a lot of walking to finish the Pokédex. DX I've got around 50,000 Watts now, and I need 100,000 Watts to get Spiritomb and Feebas. At 20 steps per watt, if you do the math it equates to 500 miles. Of course, that doesn't take into account bonus/gift watts so I'll be depending on those a lot. It's kind of a let down. In the back of my mind I was hoping to have my Pokédex completed before Black and White came out stateside, but that's definitely not going to happen without having to taint the legitimacy of it. But I guess there's not much I can do about that. I'll finish it when I finish it I guess.
