Just curious, what browser is everyone here using? I was a devoted Firefox user until recently; 3.5 seems slow sometimes and takes a rather large chunk of time to open. I've been using Opera for the last couple of weeks and I'm really amazed. Opens in seconds, lightning fast, and has most of the features FFox had. Speed Dial is pretty nice as well.

I use Opera and Firefox mainly, Opera for it's speed dial and because it's faster on my connection then Firefox was, I use Firefox mainly for uploads, and for some java scripts that mess up on Opera for some reason.
I completely blocked Internet Explorer from starting up and from connecting to the internet.
I have yet to try any other browsers out there since these two work fine for me.

Is Firefox slow again? I remember back when I was using 2.? it felt intolerably slow, then when they released 3.0 it was like it was lightning fast again.. (FF3.0 was also the dawn of the AwesomeBar™) It'd gotten slow for me lately, but I figured that was because I mucked it up with too many plugins. I stopped using it in any case...
Lately I've fallen in love with Google Chrome. It's fast and simple, and it does what I need it to do. It has a ways to go yet, to be perfectly honest — Fullscreen support needs a bunch of tweaking and it's not available for Linux yet. (wtf Google?) But I like it a lot so far. There's nothing really groundbreaking about it; it just works, and it works well.

For some reason i cannot like Google Chrome. I installed it, then looked all over for a way to change the bright default skin but i didn't find it in time, so i just rageclosed it and uninstalled it.
I've been using firefox so far, but i might change to opera soon, if opera has tabs, displays favicons and saves bookmarks then that's all i need.
Plus firefox is a memory gobbler.

Themes are a more recent feature in Google Chrome. Google's created a bunch of them, and apparently other people can too. Though the default Blue theme's never really bothered me.

Opera has all of that; I've actually just quit using FF altogether as it is a memory hog. Opera's a lot more conservative.

I'm a longtime Firefox user. I've used Opera and Chrome in the past, but they haven't seemed good enough to switch.

Same as above. I have been using firefox since 1.0. I have tried safari, opera, and chrome, but I still like firefox, mostly because of it's excellent customizing options. I got chrome like efficiency on the interface and download them all. Not to mention adblock plus!
And bliz, speeddial has been readily duplicated via extensions. Anything you want in any other browser pretty much has been duplicated in firefox.
If you want efficiency, forget opera. Chrome is where it's at. Chrome has all those features and more, plus the faster browser to date, and the lowest ram usage. If it had extensions, I would probably be using it.

If it [Google Chrome] had extensions, I would probably be using it. The irony here is that would probably slow it down anyway. o__o Chrome has a lot under the hood to make it as fast as it is, but it's also "free" of all that extra stuff slowing it down. That said, occasionally I still have to pop over into firefox to use one of its plugins. If I really wanted to, I could figure out some way around that, though. (for the most part)

Internet. Explorer.
WUT.
Seriously though. I also use Firefox, but don’t particularly care for it. I also find it goes slower than I’d like, and IE’s interface is more familiar to me anyway. Besides that, I’ve never once had any use for all those Firefox applications that I’ve heard so many wonderful things about. IE is basic and has served me well.
All those high-profile security issues aside.

When I had to reinstall Windows on my laptop recently, my browser was IE6. For about 30 seconds.

30 seconds too long.
Seriously though, IE6 blows. Anyone stuck with it PLEASE update to IE8. IE8 is actually a pretty good browser, with improvements to security, speed, and functionality over IE6. So if you got to use IE, use the newest version.

MayImilae He probably only used it to download another browser. XD (Or didn't use it at all, but had to Windows Update to IE8)EDIT: Installed the "early developer channel version" of Chrome for Linux. It's blindingly fast. o___o I had no complaints about my Firefox instal on linux, since it hasn't been bogged down by needless plugins. (yet) But Google Chrome blows it out of the water still. EDIT2: Scratch that. I still <3 Chrome, but the pre-release linux version works very very badly with forms. Is not broken enough to turn me away, but still...

Firefox on Windows 7 64-bit edition.
I have Adblock Plus, Stylish (for userstyles, o'course), an extension which takes advantage of Windows Aero to turn my browsing window (sans webpage itself) glassy, and Chatzilla for access to #musouquest on the Rizon server (I frequent /m/ on 4chan, so it's only natural).
I have no problem with the other browsers, myself. Chrome's shooting lightyears ahead, I've used Opera happily before, and IE8 is actually a good browser (though not the best). In my opinion, no one browser has an advantage over the others to give it a 'better that thou' status.

The bump is on-topic, so I'm cool with that.
I have been using Firefox for God knows how long (I forgot if I started on 1.5 or 2), and I am very satisfied with it. The add-ons I really like and it just has its own way of opening websites that I enjoy so much.
I also use IE, but not very much. I mostly use it for IE-only pages and sites that require no log-in (I can't be half-assed to make another browser remember my password for the same site).
I would like to try Safari in the near future, when my C drive isn't so full (2 GB free of 73 GB), or when the windows version has an ad-blocker utility (as I've heard, pithhelmet is only for OS X version, and pretty much outdated).
