And NOT Legends related, can you believe it? First, we have this track. 8-bit, always awesome and fun to work with. Not much I can really say about it, it was an old idea I had...then revamped it, added some new parts and made it 8-bit. Not finished, but definitely still working on it at a constant pace. Second, we have a remix from the game Toy Story. Also not finished, but also working at a constant pace. I actually just worked on this current cersion earlier today. Added in the sweet little trance conversion there at the end. Personally, I like that conversion, what do YOU think? Anyways, 2 fairly good tracks, imo. But, hey...my opinion doesn't matter! I wanna hear from you guys, so let me know what you think. --------------------------------------- BOOYA BI---, um, well you get the idea. lol To say the very least, here's atleast ONE of the above tracks...finished, of course.

Nice. I like the 8-bit one best. I'm assuming it's an original piece, too, not a remix of anything? Nice composition. Never played Toy Story, so I really have no basis for comparison. Still, very catchy. This (or anything along these lines) must be quoted everytime it's said by you. It's a new rule. That I made. Added in the sweet little trance conversion there at the end. Personally, I like that conversion, what do YOU think? I like it. The entirety of the song could've benefited from being hard trance, imo.

New rule, eh? xD Fair enough. And yes, the 8-bit one is completely original.
Too bad about not playing Toy Story. You should get the emulator and ROM if you ever get the chance. The source track is pretty good...and only when you hear the source track will you be able to fully appreciate the remix. And thanks about the trance bit. I had originally wanted to do more of a trance mix, hence why the beginning is the way it is. But, I got caught up in just writing that I didn't get around to it.
Then, I got stuck on how to progress the track...then the trance transistion came to mind, which is why it happened the way it did. Really though...I think I prefer it the way it is. The beginning is like "Oh hai, I'm gonna be awesome, but you won't know til like 2:30 into the song, see ya!" lol

Oh my god, I LOVE that Toy Story remix! That was, and is, one of my favorite Sega Genesis games. Great soundtrack, great graphics, great gameplay, but hard as heck! I've still never beaten it to this day; I've gotten as far as the Crane boss without using codes. My mother, who played the game easily twice as much as I ever had, only got past that boss once or twice.
Curse old games for not having passwords or saves!
The 8 bit one is also cool; it would work perfectly in an old NES game. In fact, if I ever decide to un-abandon my Kid Radd videogame project, I might ask to use it. However, the chances of me restarting that project are slim at best.
Anyways, great music. Especially Toy Story, which I will now download...

Hey Myoku, is that bass in the first song 8 bit? How did you do that? It sounds fantastic. The second one was cool, i loved the synths, i guess i'd have felt nostalgia if i had played that game. To be honest i don't remember having heard anything finished made by you. lol

qwertman: Yes, I'm also disappointed that it isn't finished...but by god I'll finish it. And my other stuff...is alright, I suppose. I dunno, I'm trying to get better with certain aspects to my compositions. Though, I still catch myself listening to my old stuff. lol legendary: Yes, it's a great game and that particular track caught my ear. So, I actually had to transcribe the original track, because there aren't any MIDI's for it, which is what I use so I don't have to transcribe everything I feel like remixing. But yeah, I never beat the game either... xDD And you're more than welcome to use the 8-bit track once it's finished. Just give me credit for it, obviously. Mir@k: lol Yes, it's bass. Infact, I may have the soundfont I used for it on me, so I'll get you a download link for it. It's a NES soundfont and it's actually got a large selection of sounds, surprisingly. And yeah, I spent atleast an hour getting the synths together and getting them to fit well together. Yay for FL8! lol Of course you've heard finished stuff by me, lets not forget my Unofficial remix thread for MML, eh? lol Even so, I think I have a few finished original tracks on Newgrounds. -------------- Alright, bottom of the first post. I DARE YOU TO LOOK...and then listen.

Hoooly siht, you finished it. lol I heard it, pretty cool melody, though when i put it at full volume it hurt my ear on the highest pitch, but then again that's my fault for listening to music at 100% volume.
Great work, dude.

Cool. This is infinitely better than the unfinished piece. And that's saying a lot, because it was great to begin with.
Please tell me you're gonna finish the 8-bit one...
