What happened to all the graphics hosted by the Legends Station? The pictures won't load. This applies to the following graphics: >The Emoticons >Graphics in the top selection bar (Main Icon, Home, Help, Search, etc...) >Avitars (but not the custom ones) >The mod's little rank icons >Other buttons (Post, Quote, Modify, Mark As Read, etc...) The affiliate buttons, though, come in still.
What happened? Run out of bandwidth this month?

turn off your virus scan and hit refresh, it took me a month to figure out how to get all the graphics to come up(I had the exact same problem). for some reason, fire walls seem to block the images from hear and the main site on my computer, and hopefully you have the same problem, so its a easy fix. I turned off my virus scanner while hear, and I haven't got a virus yet.

If this is the first time this sort of thing has happened, it's probably just the server being screwy or something. It happens to me every once in a while too, but it always clears itself up in a few hours.

I have my virus scanner on right now, but if the problem presist and the virus scanner thing doesn't work, edit the address to mmls.proboards9.com, that usually works, well it worked once.

I WANNA PARTICIPATE IN THE CAPTION CONTESTS AGAIN Oh well... Any other suggestions? --- EDIT: YAY! I found the solution. USE A DIFFERENT BROWSER... MSIE isn't good anyway. I just d/led Navigator & Firefox. *starts kissing all the beautiful avitars... --- 2nd EDIT: NOO! They're gone again... This is not fair.

It's strange that people seem to have this problem, but in every case it seems to be from a different cause... I can guarantee you it isn't bandwidth running out at the end of the month though. LOL MMLS has is allowed 5GB of bandwidth per day, which means about 150GB per month. Can you guess how much we use per month? About 12GB.
So, I really don't know what to say to this ongoing problem...

Well, it can't be the bandwidth then... New day, week, month, and year! STILL... NO... PICTURES!!! <-- If you can't see this, like me, this servbot is crying. Hopefully the problem will be solved soon enough... BTW, when I go to "View Image" it says "Sorry, <IMAGE URL HERE> is unavailable. Error 403 - Forbidden by Web Config", then it shows me an advertisement for PowWeb, the hosting service I assume MMLS is hosted by. If that's any help... EDIT: Have you guys considered a $25 year subscription to photobucket.com? Yeah... it's unprofessional, but it worked for my friend's site... and mine for a little while...

Uh, I don't see the Photobucket subscription as being necessary since you're currently the only person with this problem. I would assume whatever's going wrong is on your end, whether it's your computer glitching up or whatever. And you say it was working before? That's very, very strange.
As for the huge bandwidth... The point isn't to use it all up, Roll.exe. It's so the site will never run out. If MMLS was using all its bandwidth, that would definitely be a problem. As for full video play-throughs... I'd say that's basically impossible. You're looking at several DAYS worth of footage and an impossible filesize for something that really isn't useful at all. I can't see that kind of thing happening on the site in the distant future...or ever. Sorry.

I'm talking wmv9 320x240 about 4 hours for mml2 so that would take about 400 megs and I don't mean use it all but don't have that much to spare.

I have the same problem as MMLEStaffer EricChiz. When I first visited the main site, no graphics came up what so ever. They were all canceled out and had that picture of a piece of paper with a red "X" on it instead. I would like to one day participate in the caption contest also. I can see some avatar's and some of the pictures in other people's signature, but that is it. If the problem can't be fixed, it's okay. I still think this site is awesome, but it would just look so much cooler to me if I could see some of the pictures, you know?

A lot of people refer to this (the forums) as the site, so I just want to clarify. Hex, are you having trouble seeing the images here on the forums, or on the main site ( www.legends-station.com), or both? We finally figured out that EricChiz has some problems with the images here that I restrict other sites from linking to. He can see them fine on the main site, and here on the forums he can see our PNG files, which have no image protection set on them. Please let me know exactly where you're having trouble, Hex. In view of the fact that more and more people are having trouble, I'm considering the situation carefully. I plan to look into a possible solution, but whether it works or not, the Caption Contest images will be changed to PNG format from now on, so hopefully everyone will at least be able to see those and participate.
