Guys, if possible, please title your game idea (game's name) with bold letters. I'll index it in the first post and link it.
Also, achievable ideas are better, going out of the cosmos is nice, but don't plan impossible things. ;D
Yeah, I'm imagining impossible things. Some people dream big. I dream GIANT. No seriously, one of my game ideas has both giants, little people and normal-sized people as normal NPCs, acting as if they're all the same size.
I'll tone it down a lot for these ones. Although there are MANY games, so probably not all of them can be made. I'm still having oversized dreams.
DASH Mini-GamesNow, the ideas here were originally going to be mini-games in my Technicolor dream of MOTB2, but they'd work okay as stand-alone games. They're arcade-styled, so the main goal is not to beat the game, but to earn a high score. Most of them would be 3 levels long, or one big level, looping at harder difficulties. As the original idea had the games accessed from a servbot's Gameboy, they'd be low-tech, with 8-Bit graphics and bleepy music. Each game would have maximum 5 MIDI songs, each short but catchy, and would be faster and therefore more intense on harder difficulty levels.
The games themselves would be designed to be short, but addictive. Here they are:
Rescue Roll! This would be a platformer game, kinda like an 8-Bit little brother to Megaman Digger. Almost how many games have a portable release as well as a console release. Think of it like Lego Star Wars 2 DS compared to the PS2/XBOX/GCN Lego Star Wars 2. Similar game play, but downgraded, and with different level designs.
Sorry, I know that I have no right to do this, as I am not affiliated with the creation of Megaman Digger. But these are just ideas, and I am not expecting them to be actually made. If someone wants to make it, the creator should ask fab's permission before making it.
It follows the same plot as Part 4 of the Rockman Dash 2 demo, except, like all the other games here, the ending is different depending on your score when you get a game over.
Servbot's Puzzle ForestA puzzle game. Move the trash cans and avoid the Birdbots' traps to snag the curry at the end of one of the 20 stages.
Casket BandA music game, with a 2-player mode. As Megaman or Roll, compete or cooperate with the computer or another player in a performance of a DASH-related song. In competition mode, both play the guitar. In cooperative mode, Megaman plays the guitar while Roll sings. Barrel and Data are in the background, playing the piano and drumming.
Bonnes' RaceA racing game, with a 2-player mode. Tron races Tiesel on one of 3 different tracks. Both are riding a new invention: the Turbo-Schlag (Turbo-Dash translated to German via babelfish, name only temporary). Be careful; Denise will follow you if she catches you speeding!
Data's DuelA beat-'em-up game, with a 2-player mode. Data takes on a Servbot in a heated yet wacky and slapstick fighting match.
Terra World Cup SoccerA sports game, with a 2-player mode. It's Bonnes versus Glyde and his Birdbots in a game of soccer! Winner wins the Yuna cup!
Attack on the Flutter!A vertically scrolling shoot-'em-up game. Guide the Flutter through an army of Bonne machines and finally a boss machine piloted by the pirates themselves. If not, they'll steal your newly-obtained refractor!
And finally, the most complex one...
Ruin RaidAn RPG game. It has one dungeon that repeats itself, only with stronger enemies, harder puzzles and more rewards each time. As Megaman, blast your way through the Reaverbot-infested ruins. Through treasure boxes and segments with Roll in-between dungeons, gain new weapons to take advantage of each Reaverbot's special weakness. There's Zenny throughout the tunnel, but the refractor at the end will be worth more Zenny than all other Zenny in those ruins combined. The amount of Zenny in the ruins and the size of the refractor grows with each visit. When a Reaverbot bests you, your score is based on your Zenny.
Even if these games (except the last) are fairly low-tech, I still have no game-making experience, barely know anything about MIDIs, and know that the process is very tiring, even for small games. Again, I don't expect these games to be made, unless someone loves my ideas.
At least I can make sprites for them. Maybe I could post them.
