A megaman legends... Mugen? And you made this topic on the comments, questions and complaints of this site? And you're asking someone to make ALL THESE CHARACTERS from zero, without pay, and just so you can have something to play? And you used five emoticons? KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

I don't think he realizes the difficulty in creating something like that. Possibly assumes there are readily available Legends character sprites.. sudeki8, Legends' graphics are in 3D. For something that would work with MUGEN, you would need 2D graphics (sprites), which someone would pretty much have to draw from scratch. (That's a lot of work.) There are some sprites from NamcoxCapcom that might be useful, but only of MegaMan, Roll, Tron(red Gustaff) and Juno. (three of which are available on Sprites INC; some assembly required) The sprites of Tron you managed to find were most likely from Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (green Gustaff). A MegaMan Legends MUGEN project would be waaaaay too ambitious, I think, so I wouldn't count on anyone doing it anytime soon.

It might be possible to make, but to do it, we would need an expert team of devoted fans with much love for legends, lots of spare time, and most importantly, lots and lots of interest in the project. With the number of characters you want, it'd take tons of work and planning. I've never programed a game before, but I know that even with a game engine already available, programming characters is no walk through the park. And, what would the result be from this hard work? 12 characters and 5 stages probably only a few people would use. Green's right: unless there is SERIOUS interest in this project, it's not worth it. Also, sudeki, I don't mean to be rude at all, but you'll be taken more seriously if you use punctuation and capitalization in the right places. Especially when talking about this huge a thing.

I believe there´s nothing like that on internet, because of the mentioned before: Need to transform 3d models in to 2d sprites, lots of programming, and all, I´m a big MUGEN fan, and tryed already to create a Legends MUGEN, (i already finished the game screen and lifebars, i call the game: "MUGEN DASH" ;D) that´s why i create a 3d model of megaman, but then i note it would be a hard work for me doing it alone, so i´m planning to make a 3d game instead. But if you want some Legends characters in your mugen, i´ve created Megaman and Roll, Juno, Horokko and Gorubeshu from Namco X Capcom, i made the Flutter, Gesselschaft gym and Elysium stages, you only have to download Tron, and... BOOM!!!, it´s not fully legends, but you have something to be happy. There are a lot of Fighter Factory´s tutorials on the net, i suggest you to read them slowly, try to do what you´re reading at the same time (that works for me), if you plan to create a character, use Kung Fu Man´s documents as a base, there are also some tips for programming. So if you (or anyone) want my creations, send me a PM with your e-mail and i´ll send you what you´re looking for. Happy programming! (MUGEN gold rule: "Don´t modify my creations, don´t upload them on another site, and don´t claim as your own.)

Sprites are the images of the character, it needs special programs to rip that sprites. Good luck trying to take screenshots, you may need a lot, for example, of megaman standing, running, jumping, etc. the problem is, MML is third person, fighting games are second person so how are you going to take that shots? My idea was to make a 3d model and take side view screenshots for the sprites, since i had full control of the model. I recommend you to use a program like Paint shop, you need to convert every sprite in to a .pcx format, this is the only supported for mugen. 1: The same way you create a character. Every screen, like starting, select, versus, etc. are in the same file, search in your MUGEN directory a folder named "data", see that 3 files named "system"? system.def, system.sff and system. There is the info of the screens, .DEF is where it´s the definitions of the screens, .SFF are the sprites, and system it´s the sounds. If you want to modify them, first duplicate that 3 files, so if you made a mistake and the file don´t work, you have the normal screen and your mugen isn´t doomed. You have to made a sprite of everything, then open the .SFF file in fighter factory and replace them with the new ones. The process it´s too extended for writting it here, but look for tutorials!. 2: As aforementioned, all the screens are in the same files, if you open system.DEF in a text editor search the part "Title screen definition" here you can change the names of the play modes, but that´s all, i think you can´t add new modes like difficulty levels, since this needs to program new modes. If you can made the screens, good, just try not to make them look like my screens, i already winned you the idea a long time. Title Screens: Character select screen: Versus screens: Striker Sonic, also created by me ;D Fighting: Everything in this screen it´s made by me! Keep practicing and soon you will be able to create this and more.

Where does one even get MUGEN nowadays? Last I heard they fled to hiding in the deep unknown of the internets.

Roll: "Megaman, turn right there, you'll see a console, now, type the following letters into it: "G-O-O-G-L-E". Done it? The doors are unlocked now!"
In all seriousness, using google you'll find plenty of download mirrors out there, although thinking about why would anyone use MUGEN these days when there's plenty of other options available goes beyond me.
