Once upon a time when I joined the forums, I said that one of my hobbies included drawing. It had been more than overdue, but I finally plucked up the courage to show my works here at MMLS. My skills are not what you'd call spectacular, but it's something, at least. For my first pic, I did up this little interior design. I started it about last september, during English classes, and have added to it ever since.. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/sketchbook/interiorwork.jpg

Oooh, a palace! It's pretty detailed too! Does the person/monster that's pointing have a name? It look's like it's leading an army of some sort and is signaling to attack. Anyway, Id' like to see some more art like that! ;D

YOUR WISH SHALL BE GRANTED. *eyes glow red* To answer your question, that creature is Astaroth of the Ghosts n' Goblin games.... though I didn't intend to draw him in the beginning. I don't draw demons all that often. I love the old school games, and GnG is one of my favorites, so in that vein, my next piece is of an unexpected pain in the rear. Just when you think you've got Astaroth beat, he's dying to introduce you to his fiend: King Nebiroth! i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/KingNebiroth.jpg

Woah, these are pretty awesome. They look unique and I love rough sketch-type stuff. Thank you. My next work is acually Legends related - I tried drawing good ol' Trigger a few months ago. This one was the basic line work, minus the face- I wanted to see how it would come out before attempting the aforementioned.. so I might post up the final results a bit later on.. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/MegamanTriggerroughsketch.jpg

I like the first pic a lot, drawing rooms like that is harder than it looks. The second pic is good, too, but unfortunately I've never played any GnG games. The pic of Trigger is great, and I think you drew the feet and hair really well. Don't worry about the face too much, I think you can do it. I have trouble with drawing faces too.

Really great! It's accurate, too. The only probably is that the proportions are off. The most noticeable being his two arms. One is significantly shorter than the other.

All I can say about that one is I was trying to avoid a sterile pose. I was able to figure out the basics of a human body, but adding the bulky armor proved trouble. Still, one must learn to crawl before he can walk... I started this next piece just before the palace work as Mr. Ninja put it, over a year ago. I wasn't going for anything in particular, but before I knew it, I put in what you see now- it's one of my favorites. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Fishermanatthedocks.jpg

I like it! The mood is great, it feels quiet and relaxed. The boat and person look very realistic, too
Some of the lines are kind of crooked, though, but a straight edge can easily fix that. (I have the same problem, and somebody on another site told me about it).

That picture reminds me of Dragon Quest/Warrior, for some reason.

Oddly enough, the fisherman reminds me loosely of Serge from Chrono Cross.. guess he comes off looking like the Guv'..(DQVIII). Tonight, I have a double header for you all. About a few months ago, I brought up the The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled at these forums, and during that time, I drew up one of my favorite moments from that movie: i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Thiefrough.jpgNext up is one of my own Having written fanfiction for a few years, I came up with a few characters I like to call my own, so I'll introduce you to one: Say hello to Scythe Mana. Long story short(so far), he likes to fight, hates bullies, and is studying machines in school. I'm very fond of this kid. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/Scytheroughdraft.jpg..It's still a bit rough, but I drew this one a little under half an hour ago. Enjoy.

Pretty good! Scythe Mana is a cool name, by the way. Great detail on his boots and hands, and you drew the face well, too.

Pretty good! Scythe Mana is a cool name, by the way. Great detail on his boots and hands, and you drew the face well, too. You just made my day, that you did. First of all, let me thank all of you who have come here to check out my humble art, it means a lot. You guys are beginning to inspire me to create new works. Night school starts for me tomorrow night, so I fear I might not add as much as I have been, lately. .. but that doesn't mean I'm stopping altogther.. Tonight's additions hold a place in my heart, so here we go: This first work came up years ago while vacationing in Nevada: my brother-in-law wanted me to help him write an essay involving The Odyssey/i] and Paradise Lost. Drawing this work helped me to get the juices going for this conundrum. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/OdysseusandLucifer.jpg
Next up appears to be a small trend (for me, at least). Since most of you folks like some of my demonic works, I've got another one for you: an artwork of another oe the Gng's rogue's gallery of demons. Ruling from the snow-capped peaks of the Phantom Zone, it's Emperor Sardius, ooh.... You may notice that the throne is pretty faint, I only touched that and the banner in order to set the picture up for Sardius himself. I remember showing my cousin this, and he tells me it's like there was more to this work than initially seen.. This work is a favorite on the note that I was able to execute something a little more complex than my usual style..
i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/EmperorSardius.jpg
Enjoy.

I must say, I really like that last picture. Your art is full of personality, I think. I dunno, it has a special charm to it.

News update- due to bungling on part of my advisor, I'm ending up taking one class this quarter... I'm getting my money back, at least. ) So on that note, I might find a little more time for this thread. Tonight's addition is on of my simpler drawings from years ago. The helmet of a soldier Heartless. It reminded me of when I took art classes in college before moving across the country- those were good times.. If I can dig it out, I might find something in there to put up... so have at it.. i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu153/ravenf6_tc/heartlesshelmet.jpg
