XD
We ought to buy you a soapbox one of these days, you know. And not just for the soap.
And you seem to have dumbfounded at least a couple of their forum members, which is never a bad sign.
Right good rant, I'd say.

Thank you, Malt, and while I'm at it, I'd like to thank the other two people that read this thread. You guys make Legends Station worth it!
And as for soap, I can take a hint. But if you want me to sell soap for you then I'm going to have to take some commission... How does 120% sound?

I just read it. You bring up very good points, although granted, I'm on of the guys who reads mangas and watches anime with fanservice (not huge fanservice, but fanservice). That's a great perspective. I wish I could be that wholesome with my anime. o__o
You know, I should just branch out and watch more animes in general.
Anyways, it was cool reading it.

I knew you were capable of writing large blocks of texts, going off on tangents, confusing the masses, and buying cheesy Toyotas, but this here is proof indeed that you've mastered your craft. I kind of wonder if anyone ever ranted about a lack of a DASH 3 on that site...

First of all, Toyotas are never cheesy. Second, fanservice, cansmerivce, I don't know if I'd call myself pure, but I hate a tease. And just so everybody knows, the e-mail I sent to him was labeled: April Rant, even though he didn't post that, which after a quick look at the forums one can see was a good idea since everybody had a radically different opinion. But it was origionally a big joke that sprung up because people who bothered to review it all seemed to hate it. At first, and this was at least a year ago, I tried to change their minds, but at some point I realized that siPri was esoteric, so I vented, then I rewrote the vent so it was funny, then I added some fanservice, *nods to Aimman* and we were off! My first rant, too.

1-3, that was surely not your first rant! There was too much substance, while at the same time being very Space Cadet. I’ve been ranting for as long as I can remember, but I still only get one or the other. You must have had excellent conditioning.
As far as fan service, I don’t think there are many who have watched anime that can make the claim that they’ve never seen one with fan service before. The stuff is all over the place now.
It seems to have integrated itself fairly well into the entire genre’s general brand of comedy... Most of the stuff I’ve seen intended for anyone teenaged or older seem to have fan service used as a means of humor in some way, in some form, to some degree.
Though I don’t know if I’ve ever heard of anyone watching shows just for the fan service. o_ô
120%? Oh, no no no sir. I recall how those terms turned on me back with those imported liquors. And you probably make a much better poster man for those than soap anyway. Not to mention the profit margin for selling soap is much less than that of liquor to begin with, seeing as how you can’t water the soap down.
... I mean, you can try, but the suds almost always give it away. And our regulars at the underground market tend to have a sharp eye for that sort of thing; my last salesman got cleaned up something bad trying to traffic in some impotent bath beads. It’s an exceptionally dirty business, selling soap.
So logically, 110% is as high as I’m going.

It wasn't my time writing zany stuff, but it was first time writing a 'rant' in the sense of just firing off random thoughts and opinions on something for X many words. If your definition is more or less stringient then maybe I have.
