I call LIES upon it, the food in my school's cafeteria is delicious and i prefer it over the food at any fast food joint!

I'd have to agree with you there. I hardly ever eat in the cafeteria(costs about twice as much as the food from that lovely little 7-Eleven only a hundred feet or so away), but it boggles my mind that people complain about the food. Beats living on the (Super) Big Gulps and (what I can only assume to be) expired sandwiches I usually eat on a business-daily basis.

I do the exact same thing. I've eaten the cafeteria food only once, and it was alright. Of course, it is pricier, but it's hardly disgusting. I usually go to 7-Eleven and grab some Taquitos or something. That or the machine that sells sandwiches; generally works for me.

My high-school had great food for $1.25! Also, I love 7-Eleven's Delux SPAM musubi. Oh, and Slurpees.

Amateurs. I've been cooking for ages and homemade beats the pants off of mass-produced any day of the week.
In fact, I'm about thiiiiiiiiis close to developing a Slurpee mod that makes it so the flavor doesn't get sucked out of the icy stuff before you finish it and eliminates unsightly clumping at the bottom of the cup.

I agree with Dashe. It's much more satisfying and much better for you to cook your own meals. The caf food at my old university wasn't bad, but I also gained twenty pounds eating it, since it was pretty heavy on fat and starch. I've lost the weight, but I'd have preferred not to have gained it in the first place. XD
Of course, not everyone has a kitchen available to them.

My school's cafe doesn't serve bacon wrapped pork with basmati lime rice.
Home made is better and has endless possibilities.

My cafeteria is fine, better than my last school by leaps and bounds. Seriously. I couldn't even identify what they were selling there.

My high school cafeteria was awful. The fries smelt like old eggs, and tasted slightly better. But I lived 5 minutes away from my high school so I walked home for lunch most days.
At University, we just have this building with a bunch of fast food places (Pizza places, Taco Bell, etc). Usually I pack my own lunch, I can't stand the thought of eating that stuff everyday. Except Subway, I'll eat that once a week or so.

I eat so much fast food. The cafeteria here at college just isn't what high school's was. =__=
I never cook, heavens no, I'm far too lazy for that. The extent of my cooking skills is microwave ramen or mac and cheese.
Also, Green, on an unrelated note, did you know that the old Megaman cartoon features an episode, "Dream Scheme," or something like that, where the same "Sweet Dreams" line is used in different places over four times? I can name this many.
1. "Sweet dreams, Wily!" near the end. 2. "Then it's sweet dreams for Wily!" by Roll. 3. "Sweet dreams, chiefy!" by Protoman.
In the same episode, the police chief completely changes appearances during a dream sequence and the mayor's animation completely disconnects as he's driving a car.
There's also a scene in the "RoboSpider" episode where Quickman is shot from the front, then flips forward opposite of the direction of the shot's connection, bending over as if he'd hit a bar when there was nothing in his path of flight whatsoever.
Starman's weapon, when taken, turns Megaman's buster into a buster that does the exact same thing with a star-shaped buster hole.
Megaman makes Hardman eat a single, ordinary buster shot at one point, causing him to explode from the inside.
I could go on forever about the cartoon, PM me about it if you ever want to talk. XD
