Hey guys well im going to have to admit that I came onto these forums ready to chat with some friends and very excited about the fact that you guys here are all into megaman since he was my childhood hero. So im all rev'd up to come onto the forums and get you know you guys after reading your posts through the week I came up with lots of answeres and had even 2 written out on notepad that I could just copy paste. So i come onto the forums and blast away my thoughts and ideas after being mostly cooped up over the week ( a few posts leaked in before then since they spilled over ) . So im blasting away i guess you could say in a careless glee and having a blast responding to everyone cuz I remeber I back on Wow forums nobody responded to my thread some times i got mean trolls. So I know that people like responders to their posts and i come on here and i make as many posts as I can to pass the fun and well that sort of backfired. I check my posts a little later sunday night and I miss the flooded mailbox of extreme violations of double posting since the black is almost the same color as the blue. So I see some people respond to my threads and im excited but i know i have to go to school so I jump back to bed quickly cuz my moms mad. And well i come back from school (moderately good day) and i slide my curser down after talking to dashe about the hit points of reavers in mml and I notice theres this thing messed up on my screen my cursor is resting over something with a black line under it so i investigate and find out that its my mailbox (jeeze I forgot this from last year ) and i see its my private mailbox and i go inside since some people are talking to me and I look and BAM. and here i am so im sorry guys. Ps: Sorry staff you guys must have been in shock.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to participate, however, it's usually a good idea to brush up on the rules and ways of the forum or chatroom (or wherever else) you plan to participate in. The biggest problem was that you weren't editing your posts when you wanted to comment more, which is done with the nice "Modify" button in the upper-right hand corner of all of your posts. Since this forum is a flat, thread-based forum as opposed to a branching tree-based forum, replying individually to each post (when it can be all wrapped into a single post) is not only unnecessary, but highly discouraged and against the rules. Also, quoting the entire passage from another post is largely unnecessary, especially when the previous post is very long or has large pictures or a youtube video embedded...simply writing something to the effect of "@person:" is usually enough. I spent most of yesterday merging all of your double posts (there were a lot!) so you don't have to worry about them. If you go back and check them, you'll see how easily it is to put 2 messages in the same post (by way of the horizontal rule tag, [hr]). There's no lack of space for how much you can put in a single post...I was able to merge both your quintuple-posts, your septuple-post, your octuple-post, and even your quattuorvigenuple-post (originally and mistakenly reported as a trevigenuple-post) all into a single post...all you have to do is hit the 'Modify' button before hand, and there you go. I'd ask for you to review the rules...make sure you know all of them...and then you'd be more than welcomed here, despite this rocky beginning. We were all n00bs and novices at one point If you do need any help with anything...any of the active mods, I'm sure, would be able to help you out...that's Dashe, myself, MLT, and JMC. (I don't know where TronBonne has taken off to, and fab typically doesn't like to be disturbed anymore ).

Honestly, I'm a little torn on this and quite a bit less forgiving than Mr. Chiz. Personally I think some sort of penalty should be in order even though it was sort of unconscious...then again, to me it looks a lot like a DUI case, even though you were neither driving nor under the influence. It seemed harmless at the time but caused some people a lot of trouble in the long run.
Therefore I've given you the SPAM Warned custom title and reduced your post count to zero. If Chiz can forgive you after merging a quatturovigenuple-post...just don't do it again. Ever.
In fact, print out the rules and stick them next to your computer for constant reference, and remember that proper capitals and punctuation will serve you well here. Hint, hint.

Back, this sucks. I thought Dashe had posted that random information on the newsfader thanks to my thread about it. I'll go listen to linkin park while i slit my writs in that corner over there.

Actually, part of the inspiration did come from your thread about it. But if you do slit your wrists...try not to bleed on the carpet. It's new.

For whatever it's worth, you gave me a good laugh. While I felt incredibly sorry for Chiz here who had to merge 24 posts into one.. it was just downright hysterical, to be perfectly honest. At first I wasn't sure what you were doing, but then I realized why you were doing it. I actually wouldn't hold that against you: like Chiz said, the structure is a bit different from some other forums, and also there are even some forums that automatically merge double posts from what I understand as well. Copy/Paste-ing for quotes should be sufficient, if quoting is necessary, but I'm sure someone's filled you in on that already(admittedly, it doesn't have the same cool extras the Quote button throws in, but still..). I'd call it an honest mistake. ..especially considering it was an honest mistake made for the sake of loving the forums too much. How can anyone be angry about that?

Don't feel too bad. You're not the only one who's made a newcomer mistake before. I remember when I first came to this site I made a BIG mistake when I blatently and shamelessly sent Dashe a PM trying to promote my fanfic (which is now, by the way, the highest viewed fic on the site) *cough*
Not only was this in violation of the site's zero SPAM tolerance clause, but I sent it to her while she was in the middle of a term paper or something and had asked for no PM's in the first place. So...yeah. I suppose I should probably apologize for that as well.
Sorry Dashe...
I've since then read over the rules three times over. No joke.

Dude, I was the same when I started here too, so don't worry about it too much. I originally learned about forums back at the Lucasarts's ones, which are pretty lenient with the rules. But when I first came here, I was so excited (Perhaps like you) that I broke the rules enough times that Feldinaught, an old moderator, had to make a thread about the issue with me. Man, that was embarassing. But don't worry. Once you adapt to how the MMLS forum works, just as I had to, you'll have a lot more fun. I remeber I back on Wow forums nobody responded to my thread some times i got mean trolls. So I know that people like responders to their posts and i come on here and i make as many posts as I can to pass the fun and well that sort of backfired. I feel ignored if people don't reply to my threads that I took the time to make, so yes, I love it when people reply to my threads and replies. Speaking of our days as n3wbs, I'm thinking of changing my name back to when I first joined, "RockBuster", since I've realized that even though "RockMan" is in a sense, the one of the best names on this forum, it will confuse other people if they're referring to the characters or me. Anyone approve?

I probably should have changed my avatar text to "Not receiving PMs due to Finals Week" or something, in all honesty. From here on out I think every time things get hectic I'll mass-warn the population of MMLS via avatar. Nobody'd be able to miss that. XD I actually vaguely remember that. Shewt, Feldi was awesome in a can. She practically patented the use of "metric tonnes" in everyday conversation. *Salutes* Ehh, go ahead. Once over a period of like a year is fine...it's when you change it, oh, say, on a weekly or Oz forbid daily basis where it gets annoying and excessive and starts violating rules.
