What's your favorite food?
For me it would have to be sushi. Seriously, I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life. Sure, some people think raw fish is disgusting, but hey, each to his own kind. ;D

I am a grilling champ--I love anything cooked on a grill (only I can't eat seafood of any kind, so grilled fish or shrimp is out of the question). Actually, just a few hours ago I made the best baby back ribs I've had in a very long time. Marinaded them in this stuff and then brushed more of it on after cooking. It was amazing.

My favorite food would have to be tacos. Just the combination of toppings for it, then getting to have corn chips with it just makes my mouth water.

I don't know why, but I'm seriously ordering bacon, eggs, and french toast to every restaurant I end up at this summer. I look over the entire menu and think about trying other things, but truth be told I end up the same place every time. I've just never had a bad order of it. XD
Besides that, New England clam chowder is up there. I had a lot of it back when my wisdom teeth were taken out.

I don't think I have 1 favorite, I like ALL GOOD FOOD! My favorite snack is probably Mozzarella sticks with marinara, they are terrible for you, yet heavenly at the same time.

*looks at the stuff in the previous posts* You guys are making me hungry... I've got too many favorties to list, but here goes a start. I love good chinese food so for me, a good meal would consist of lo mein noodles with bbq'ed pork and some teriyaki chicken on the side... man... ;D ;D For a quick snack, I like oranges or a small chunk of montery jack cheese, delicious. Next chance I get, I'm starting up some crackers and cheese- I've been craving it for some time.

Mochi. Definitely mochi. But not just any mochi. I like the sweetened mochi, but my favorites are the plain, pounded mochi that you can eat as your dinner. My favorite form of mochi is isobeyaki, which is pretty much mochi dipped in shoyu and wrapped around nori.
Also, ever since I started working at Taco Bell, I loved their food, especially the Chicken Grilled Stuft Burrito and Chicken Taquitos. Taco Bell makes delicious chicken.
For fruits, it would have to be mangos. They have the perfect sweetness that I love.

Heh. I'm glad I have a mochi loving buddy here too, and one that likes "regular" mochi too. *High fives back*
I also love curry. Mmm... If I'm fairly hungry, I can scarf a plate in less than five minutes. o.o

I've never tried mochi, but it sounds pretty good from what I read about it.
Agreed. I just had a spicy tuna roll and a salmon roll earlier today. Best. Food. Ever.

Favorite Japanese snack: POCKY. In fact, Pocky seems to be part of Japanese pop-culture now, and is frequently praised in my local anime-fan community.
I'm curious since I live in Hawaii. How do you guys in the mainland eat your asian food? Do you guys use chopsticks or regular spoons and forks? How common are Japanese restaurants over there?

I'm curious since I live in Hawaii. How do you guys in the mainland eat your asian food? Do you guys use chopsticks or regular spoons and forks? Honestly, I prefer to use chopsticks. Of course it can make eating something like rice tedious at times, depending on how it was cooked. It works great on sushi or chicken though!
How common are Japanese restaurants over there? Fairly common, I'd say. If you're looking for Chinese food, pretty much every shopping center had one of those carry-out places. It's also an unwritten rule that every mall's food court has either a Chinese or Japanese food stand. In some cases food courts have Sushi bars as well!
As far as regular Japanese restaurants go, there are a few of them around. The one I've been to, named Sakura Steakhouse, is one of those restaurants where the food is cooked in front of you. You basically order your food, and they cook it front of you and everyone who is at our table. It's pretty fun!

Seeing how few people are here,I will be posting a little more than I expected,anyways...
I rather enjoy large peppers stuffed with ground beef and mixed with a lot of white rice, and drizzled in a special slick tomato sauce.
When I go out to eat I usually get grilled chicken. For fast-foods I love tacos, mmm.
And I could eat crablegs forever.(Not the shells) But its only worth the money if you go to a sea-food buffet.I go to one about 1-2 times per year. Its $35 and the crablegs are the biggest you will ever eat, take the largest pice of crabmeat you saw and multiply it by 2 or 3.I have a bottomless pit of a stomache and I eat so much crab that I get full.
