I like how 'so much drama' on Legends-Station is all of two posts. This board is so relaxed that's all it takes- no problem here. So, are there plans for more "Powered-Up" style Robot Masters? It'd be cool to see what the Mega Man 9 RMs would look like. To be honest, yes - a lot. I've been avoiding letting the "cat out of the bag", but no one cares at this point anyway so why not, haha? Lol. This is more of a personal learning experiment/experience anyway... For the last year or so since Powered Up was released I've been experimenting with different game-related mediums, all-the-while slowly (but surely) working on Powered Up versions of older Robot Masters. I've been trying to do them in order, but I've actually built up quite a collection pencil sketches for Powered Up versions of robot masters from MM6-9 as well and even a few totally original creations. My exact plans shall be shrouded in mystery until I have something to show, but needless to say Powered Up will be the focus and it will draw upon many of my past Powered Up ideas (see my MMPU TCG) and concepts. Again, not concrete details but whatever it is I'm making will be playable. I just wanna have a fleshed-out, working demo complete before I say anything too specific. But in short, yes - I do have plans for tons more. -Age

Hey, that's not true! I really like all of your stuff. I think it would be really cool if you could even have a game made up some day. If you could make some side view vector graphics of all your dudes, I wouldn't be surprised if someone took up a megaman powered up 2 with them. I bet a lot of other people like your stuff too, but haven't mentioned anything.
Also, there are probably no more than 20 people regularly visiting this forum. If you showed people on a dedicated megaman classic forum, they would go nuts.

Heh, thanks! Just so you don't get the wrong impression - the game will have no need for 3D models/graphics. They will be artwork and graphics, but not in the traditional sense - can't really say more than that other than the fact that the game will focus less on visual aspects and more on... statistics, strategy, characters, role-playing etc. and be primarily text-based. The project/game is evolving into a rather unique mix of gaming mediums and styles. I'm no where near a working demo or anything, but while I work out details of the user-interface (whatever it may end up like) the core gameplay data (characters, stats, items, abilities, etc.) are being designed/programmed/populated right now. Well, not right now - but whenever I have the time (maybe 2-3 days a week?). Either way - it's not going to be like any traditional game anyone's played and certainly not any type of existing MegaMan game - though it will focused on MegaMan and the robot masters...just in a new, experimental light. But yeah, thanks again - I'm really excited about the project and am eager to have something to show/demo. -Age

That's awesome! I can't wait to see it. I was really hoping for a mmpu2 with a slide feature, but, like you were saying, it's something that has already been done (a billion times).
I hope this turns out to be cool. Are you going to have updates on your site?

I hope this turns out to be cool. Are you going to have updates on your site? Lol, trust me - I want a true Powered Up sequel more than anyone else in the world (well, I like to think so) but it doesn't look like Capcom is ever gonna make one. If they ever did, I'd snap that shit up like crack regardless of how similar it was to the first (actually, I'd want it to be exactly like the first, just with more bots, lol). But yeah - this is going to be very, very different. And browser-based. Also, to answer your question - yes I will have updates on my site but not yet. I'm going to wait until I have something to show before I start talking about it publicly. I mean, I'm totally dedicated to the project but I am just one person, so I don't want to promise anything and get people's hopes up and then fail to deliver. Lol. I am excited though! Can't stop thinking about it. Haha. In the mean time, I'm going to try and make an effort to continue drawing the Powered Ups while I work on the other stuff. Even if not for the game, then just for fun. I need the practice. -Age
