Re: RP--See my avatar. It's actually a Lucario now, I trained it from level 1 to 48 in about 2 hours one day. I was lucky enough to catch a Chansey that was holding a Lucky Egg, and I abused the fact that one of the breeders on route 210 had a Happiny, 2000xp with no effort is pretty awesome.

I survived the first three days. My boss had even complimented me as well about being able to handle teaching the High school grades . So, it's not so bad after all. I might even come here more often than I had originally expected. MMLS, Duckyboos, Toonzone and all the few other places I hang out and post; please don't ever change for the worst! I love your forums just the way they are.

So if Rockman was originally supposed to be red, does that mean Blues was supposed to be... BLUE!!??!

Good to see teaching's a nice fit for you. I had a feeling it probably would be.
I can't speak for any of those other places, but if MMLS changes for the worse then I'll see to it that the parties responsible get a thorough beating.
Whether that would help or hurt the cause is up in the air, though.

I really need to find some unsuspecting guinea pig to try this Yugioh deck against.
Anyone feel like subjecting themselves to my Burn Deck?

A thorough beating? I enjoy inflicting grievous harm on people, can I help?

About that Mega Man music stuff up there... Anyone ever thought about a Legends Medley? 20-30 minutes of pure eargasm... Yeah, that'd be awesome. I didn't know Medley's were supposed to be that long... >_> Once I've mastered that flute solo from the "Apple Market" theme and the flute solo in "With Vengeful Feelings", that'll be three MML songs in my guitarsenal (what's up with MML music and virtuoso flute playing?) Is it ironic that I'm learning to play these songs on the guitar? Edit: Oh, oops. I got a bit distracted and forgot what I originally came here to post. You remember the houses in City Hall with the butler's who say "The master has expressed a desire to meet you, but he is unfortunately not at home at this time"? The master. Wants to meet with Megaman. But he's not at home. Unfortunately. the Master. *hint hint*

I get it! It's a metaphor, isn't it?
Sadly, this post is most definitely NOT a metaphor for anything.

I'll ask something just because I can.
Did anyone else here beat both Shenmue and Shenmue 2? The games were great, but due to their past I seriously doubt that we'll get the third game before MML3.

Guitarsenal? Irony? Nah, I don't think that's ironic. More like expected. I didn't know there were people other than TronBonne who played Mega Man Legends songs on the flute, actually.

I used to want to play the clarinet, until I realized everybody plays the clarinet. So I picked up the ukulele instead, because it's awesome. Then I picked up the guitar because guitars are very versatile and expressive, and everybody and their mother plays the piano in my circle of associates, but hardly anybody I know plays the guitar. And most of the people I know that play the guitar picked it up because of me, lol.
But then I realized there's a bigger world out there. In my search for distinction, I ended up being just another guy with an ax to grind. But at least I can be unique in the way that I play, and the selections that I choose to perform... *sigh* Maybe I'll pick up the theremin next...
This is the random talk about nothing thread, after all...

Absoultely. Go for the theramin. The more you know the more cred you'll have.
Seriously, though, everyone plays the clarinet? Really?

Clarinet seems to be the most common band instrument, at least around these parts.
Edit: I've always wanted to play the trombone...
Ok, let me stop, because I really love the guitar and ukulel, and I wouldn't give them up for anything. I just like other stuff too.
And with that... it's time to take a break from the mumbo-jumbo section...

I've actually played the trombone before. It's pretty easy to learn. You've just got to get over the brassy aftertaste.

I'm not fond of musical instruments unless someone else is playing them. I leave the music to the ones who actually have talent.
That's me, the talentless hack. :V -- "Now, like I explained to you all before, I ain' no drinkin' man. I tried it once, and it got me highly irregular and I swore I'd never do it again.
But I promised my brother-in-law that I'd go up and watch his still while he went into town to vote.
It was up there on the mountain where the map said it would be.
Friends let me tell you one thing though, it wadn't no ordinary still.
It stood up that mountainside like... like a huge golden opal.
God's yellar moon was a' shinin' on the cool clear evenin', God's little lanterns just a' twinklin' on and off in the heavens and, like I explained to you once before, I ain't no drinkin' man, But, temptation got the best of me, and I took a slash..."
And I'll be cursed if nobody gets the reference of the cover artist who sang that song.
