It's kinda spooky to think about how well the Mega Man Battle Network games predicted the future in terms of technology. Smartphones are pretty much PETs (Siri's like a prototype Net Navi), 'jacking in' is just you sticking a USB port somewhere, more and more devices are becoming hooked up to the Internet, and the scope of cybercrime continues to rise.

car companies can now control your vehicle remotely, to a somewhat limited but still quite terrifying degree... A man in india who was fired from his job, decided that if he wasn't going to be employed anymore... neither should the brakes of any automobile using the firmware he had previously been in charge of, so he disabled them. All of them. Remotely.
I don't really see why we need all this stuff connected to a network, and the very fact that some of it is, seems like a terrible terrible idea in general.

Next thing we know, we'll have rogue AI that inhabit robot bodies in order to completely and utterly wreck everything in the physical world. After that, we'll be invaded by hostile aliens that can manipulate the material powering everything our very lives depend on. And once all that is done and said, links between the past and future will be made for two similar heroes to come together and dilute what little life their combined series had, as a team.

Well, crap, I've finished Dark Souls 3.
...I guess my PS4 goes back to being my tv show gateway again.

I can't even begin to figure out where one goes to find information about whether there is some weekend activity other than iscribble going on... but I haven't seen a board in a few weeks, and I'd like to see one this weekend. THIS IS YOUR WARNING.

It's been a tiring month of work, and it's going to end with two days on a holiday weekend coming up. That's not going to be fun.

Today IUPAC, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemicals announced the beginning of a public review of the name and symbol 'nihonium'--symbol NH--for the newly discovered Element 113, discovered by researchers from the RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science and proposed by them on March 18. Finally, the element of Japanium has been discovered. Mazinger Z will be a reality! Source: riken.jp

I've just realized that Stephen Hawking might be a corpse that a robot uses as disguise, that would explain a lot of things...

Tackling someone is like hugging someone, only there's a winner.

Been working hard this month, too. It's been easier though since my body usually wakes up more as it heats up... even though I don't like the heat.

You know what I dislike the most about banana-flavored candies and frozen desserts?
They taste nothing like actual bananas.

See, I don't know what "real" chocolate is supposed to taste like since we've got that American chocolate thing going on, and yet, I don't mind since it tastes so good in their own way.
