I've had Neuro Bliss. It was relaxing for about two seconds and then I went straight back to being tense again.

Hey guys, it's me, TheJorsh. New name. I'm still around, just keeping super-busy being a poor college student struggling to pay for bills and tuition and whatnot while taking a full load of classes and working full-time so I don't usually have time to do anything other than lurk a bit every now and then. I seem to be slowly getting a more stable schedule laid out with a bit more free time, so I'm gonna try to start being more active in the various fan communities I've been neglecting. I might post some artsy crap later since Dashe told me to like two months ago in a Facebook conversation.

It slightly relaxes you, but doesn't really do much else. The 'Sleep' variation leaves me feeling more refreshed than when I take melatonin supplements, which is saying something. 'Sonic' is good but there are plenty of other ways to get caffeine if need be.

I envy every bit of your stability. Welcome back! Bliss isn't really all that special. It slightly relaxes you, but doesn't really do much else. The 'Sleep' variation leaves me feeling more refreshed than when I take melatonin supplements, which is saying something. 'Sonic' is good but there are plenty of other ways to get caffeine if need be. Huh. I'll have to try that out then. Usually if I spend the whole day running around outside I'm tired enough that I just need a cup of sleepytime extra to knock myself out.

[/lurk] I'm super excited, I got the first (and only) job I applied for! Sure, it's probably only because my sister used to work there, and sure it's only minimum wage, but hey! [lurk]

Pen, I wish I were you. Sort of. I couldn't even get a job over the summer where nepotism would've been directly involved. They kept "losing the application." Probably by way of fire.

What, they didn't even have the courtesy to shred it? You can't recycle smoke, burning it is just bad practice. Did you only apply to the one job or was this several seperate times?

It was just the one job, applied multiple times because I kept getting told I'd get in and I was desperate. It's not as bad as this one person from my improv group, though. She was in a group interview, joked about murdering someone in the middle of a roleplaying scene, and then was asked to leave because it was in bad taste.
Worst I've ever had personally was a company who called me while I was on a busy street. I had trouble hearing them and wound up saying "What's up?" They thought it was harsh and said "We were going to schedule you an interview but I think we're going to pass." I couldn't even tell what kind of company this WAS, the reception was so bad. I was like, geez, this has got to be one of those law firms or something...but nope, I googled the number and it was some off-brand coffee shop. Probably dodged a bullet with that one if the boss is that snobby.

"What's up" was too much? Yeesh, yeah, that was probably better left alone. My job I apparently have to wait a few weeks for; until they finish running a background check... I guess I'm going to be broke for 3-5 weeks. ^_^

I could make a thread about this, but it probably doesn't even need it's own thread. So here's a lovely Tron Bonne mug I'm selling on Redbubble. You can click the image if you wanna buy it.

You know, editing gaming videos or any videos in general where you use text boxes instead of voice takes so much more effort. You have to make sure they have the correct spelling, have them up long enough so people can read them, and because I'm OCD, make sure they're centered on top of that. The ones that talk over videos rarely have to do anything but keep up a coherent line of speaking throughout.
Basically, I'm making this post just to remind myself that there is a lot of work involved to getting stuff done, but man, it feels so good when everything turns out right.

The ones that talk over videos rarely have to do anything but keep up a coherent line of speaking throughout. I've always preferred text boxes in gaming videos, since you have the added utility of being able to watch them muted. Voice-overs work better for things like Let's Plays, while something like a tutorial benefits from text. I think text allows you to be short and concise in a way that's not as easy to pull off when speaking. This is one of my favorite examples of a well-made tutorial: Short bursts of text that the user can read without pausing blended with great video examples.
