I will always stand by my assertion that the biggest mistake I ever made in my game collecting and playing lifestyle was letting an old friend in my trailer park borrow my copy of Megaman Legends 2 before he moved away a couple months later. I eventually found out his mother and father were a bunch of junkies who lost everything they had to pay for their drugs, and got mercilessly tormented by jackasses in the trailer park for my annoying digging into finding out what happened to the game. That copy of Legends 2 probably ended up snapped in two somewhere, and it kills me a little every day wondering if I could ever get a copy of it again. Heh, get it? Digging? I'm sorry...
You'd only need to be surprised if the fast replies aren't from me. Also, pinball? People still play that? (...Says the person with the same taste in music as Gale Boetticher from Breaking Bad.)
And also coming from an administrator on a Megaman Legends forum. XP

I've mentioned a few times that little me sold my copy of Legends 2 on Ebay for around $5... still makes me cringe. I did get a message from the buyer saying that it made his kid's Christmas though, so I suppose that's some consolation.

That makes me wonder if the buyer ever had an account here. XD

Heh, that'd be a great coincidence. "Can I have my game back now?"

So, as we speak of Rimblmenji in the TruForce X thread, it occurred to me that it would be one heck of a fight if it were pitted against two of its ancestral gelatinous boss bots. I'm talking about the Green and Rainbow Devils. Sure, we got the original Yellow, but I'm convinced he's made of clay or something like that, unlike the clear gelatin for these three. So, opinions on that?

Wasn't there a Black Devil, too? I don't know as much about the Classic series as I do Zero, ZX and Legends...

I believe you're thinking of Shadow Devil, from X5. Although he is part of the Devil series, I don't think the substance he's made of is gelatinous like these three. To me, it just seems that the gelatinous ones are more malleable than the others. Or rather, they just use it more to their advantage.

That would make sense. The two Megaman series I know least about are Battle Network and X. I have only played X1 twice.

X1 is a pretty balanced game. Not too tough, but not a cakewalk either. Unless you took a dare in your college freshman year to play an X1 emulation without armour (except the Dash Boots) or weapons. It was a nightmare, and made me realise I actually suck at MegaMan without those luxuries.

It was a nightmare, and made me realise I actually suck at MegaMan without those luxuries. I usually suck at Megaman games where you don't get a sword. And ones where you are forced to use the same finger to push the jump button and the shoot button. That's why my MMZ/MMZX control layout is so weird. R - Jump X - Z-Saber A - Z-Buster B - Dash (in ZX) L - Biometal selection wheel Y - Overdrive Also, the L button on my DS doesn't really work, so I set the button where there's a workaround to it. Like in ZX, I just use the pause menu to Megamerge with different Biometals.

It's even a different color (purple? pink? I dunno)

On a different note, I changed my icon, mini-profile and signature. What do you guys think?

Right now the Advanced mini-profile is blending in so well with the avatar that I can barely make out Harpuia. Try decreasing the saturation on the biometals and you'll be able to see your avatar better when you have AMP on.

Mine's been changed as well... Twice in about a month. It's not terribly often that I change avatars or profiles. This one has potential to stick around awhile on my end.
But yeah, I agree with Dashe. It's hard to make out your avatar. In my case, I actually want my avatar to almost be invisible.
1) So that the avatar's a bit more prominent in areas where it should be noticeable, like on my main profile page or in a quote 2) Because I hate not having an avatar
So there's my take on profile options. I'm a little surprised we don't have a thread tailored to that yet; I'm unsure of where it would fall in category myself.
