I bet it was a rerelease of Daggerfall or some tangential thing that wasn't even recognizable as TES.

Oddly enough it was a original game, but borrows music from Morrowind supposedly. Still doesn't save itself from being any good though.

I need to give Morrowinds OST a look...Oblivion has always been my favorite though, stuck in my head the most. Skyrims pretty good too, but I don't remember the regular environmental music as much as Oblivions.
Also been downloading some new music today...I can't work well without a fresh slew of music to listen to every now and then. Plays a big part, IMO.

I know the feeling. I always get an energy boost when I find a new song I like, especially because I'm picky about music. I don't go around thinking I like an artist just because I like three or so of their songs, although I must admit that probably makes finding new songs much easier.

The Humble Bundle almost always includes soundtracks along with the games, so if you're in to soundtrack-style music, then that's an option.

Yeah, I tend to do the same thing when it comes to music. I never really listen to it by the album; I just pick and choose songs I like in a particular genre and add them to my Mp3 player. So glad the age of downloadable music makes this so much easier on me; I remember buying CDs and only listening to certain tracks over and over. I also have a habit of playing a new song I like over and over when I first discover it. I used to think that it would 'kill' the song for me, but honestly the really good songs are the ones that stay good no matter how many times you've played it on repeat.

No regrets.

My iPod is almost always just set to Repeat One. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. But when my sister would buy her CDs and do the same thing without headphones, I'd actually listen to the whole album when she was gone just to see what else these people had to offer, and then get attached to most of the songs on the disc. Either music stopped being as good after the turn of the millennium or abusing the repeat function is a sign of aging.
