I heard of this anime a few days ago and torrented it. It's definitely an impressive piece of work. There's 25 eps and a movie, if I'm not mistaken.
Think of it as a mixture of good vs evil with a good dash of classical music and you'll get a small picture of what it's like. Anyone heard of VoH?

Nope, not me. What is this anime about? I am just curious. :3 I've only seen two episodes at this point, so here's what I know: A great war has gone on between humans and demons with no end in sight, but 15 years ago, the Queen of Sforzend created a powerful barrier that trapped the demons in a fallen kingdom now known as the 'Northen Capital'. Now the barrier is weakening, and the demons, under the direction of thier leader, King Bass, seek to crush Sforzend before laying waste to humanity. In the small town of Staccato, a musician named Hamel and his friend Flute are about to enjoy the harvest festival, when the town attacked by the demons; thirsty for slaughter as well as searching for something of great importance. Hamel is able to drive off the invaders with mysterious music, but this is only a prelude of things to come. Burdened with a mystery passed on by the dying elders of the town, Hamel and Flute journey to Sforzend, but Bass isn't about to turn a blind eye to these new developments... That's all I've got for now. If anyone's interested, I can tell you where to find it.

Nah, it doesn't sound like something I will watch. I mostly watch anime with comedy, action and adventure.

I didn't think so at first with little to go on. It is something a bit different, I'll admit that much, but I've actually enjoyed it so far, and with Naruto choking up the air (no offense to the fans), I felt like something different, and this was a good answer, in my opinion.

Eh, I know what you are talking about. I am a fan of Naruto but they are showing too much. I just wish they let Bleach come back and Gintama come into english.

Eh, I know what you are talking about. I am a fan of Naruto but they are showing too much. I just wish they let Bleach come back and Gintama come into english. Ditto. I've seen a bit of Gintama a few months ago; it sort of parodies itself here and there, but it's pretty funny to see. I know a place where you can find GT, if you'd like. As for Naruto, they need to get rid of half of what they show and put something with substance back on. The problem with Bleach is that while there is good action in it, some of what happens and a bit of the fanservice make it fit only for the Adult Swim late night fare. For the most part, I was pretty sure not most people have heard of VoH since it doesn't exist outside Japan, save for the odd scantalations on the web, which are getting a little scarce, so that's when I decide to bring this one up to attention at the Legends Station.
