This might be a little unusual, but from what I'm seeing on the tv scehdule, the Blue Bomber's at it again: Tomorrow night at 7pm, during CN's Toonami. At first, I thought I was mistaken, so I even went to CN's site, sure enough, they have the 7pm-9pm timeslots filed under a "Special Presentation", schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/xmlServices/ScheduleServices?methodName=mainSchedule so this appears to confrim the idea to an extent. Upon further inspection, it looks to be based off MM Star Force, if anyone's interested...

Hmm, so Cartoon Network's going to get the Mega Man Star Force Anime? Interesting...though I won't really watch it. Thanks for telling us.

It looks like four episodes, I don't know if they'll go any further thatn that... at least it beats another shameless marathon devoted to Naruto. there's been too much of that... Still, I'll check it out for myself before reserving judgement.

I see that- WAY too many marathons (though no offense to its fans). Is this the first time Cartoon Network's gotten a Rockman anime?

Soo much Naruto last weekend and I sat there and watched every last one. I hate the intro song now. It gets on my nervous.
Mega man Star Force, that's probably not going to be very good. Oh well, I will be party tommorrow anyway. I wonder who they got to voice the characters?

*In regards to Blues' question* No. They did do a brief marathon for BN a few years ago. I wish they brought back some of the good old stuff they were known for back then. Still, this is one of the more unusual moves they'd made, in my opinion. At best, I hope it's worth the change of pace.

Sigh...it's always something. First they make a battle network anime, and now this . It's not so much that I want to see an Megaman anime based on the legends series, as much as I want to see a Megaman anime that's NOT based on the battle network divison (and that includes StarForce). Well, I would've at least I would've watched it anyway...it's too bad I don't have Cartoon Network. Maybe they'll end up airing it on Teletoon...

All righty then, the show's over. And well, I gotta say; it wasn't as annoying as I thought it might be. I actually found it enjoyable.
I'm really taking a stab at the VO cast, but I'm betting Joshua Seth was the kid, Geo.
One thing I really liked was that wierdo cop; it looked they did him as a tribute to Inspector Zenigata from Lupin III, from the trenchcoat to his mannerisms. What a bungler. ;D ;D ;D
It looks like there'll be more on that Jestream thing CN's been working on.
Somehow, I expect a few folks won't take my review of itwith favor...

I'm sorry for bumping this topic but i did not think there would be a need for another Star Force topic, but i wanna know what you guys, thought of it. I think it was good compared to the other Rockman series i have seen on TV.

I'd have to say that as well. The mid 90's version of the Classic series tended to butcher a few things (like Protoman being a bad guy), but I'd have to say Scott McNeil did an excellent job as Dr. Wily.
As for BN, a few of the name changes annoyed me. Other than that, it was an improvement. I found the manga version a bit more tangible.

I liked BN as well but the series was taken off air before the final episode i think. It was good though, but when i watched the 90's Rockman Anime i never wanted to watch another episode after the first one. I had to use the Megaman Game collection to see it though.

Last I recall, ADV's got a hold on the classic series. They released it a few years ago in two collections, but I doubt you 'd find them easy today. There were some bits I liked from it, though.

All righty then, the show's over. And well, I gotta say; it wasn't as annoying as I thought it might be. I actually found it enjoyable. I was watching some of the Japanese versions of the Ryuusei no RockMan anime, and I too thought it was quite enjoyable. This superhero MegaMan is a lot like the one that I imagined if I created a new MegaMan myself. Oh yeah, Luna reminds me of Tron.

The wierdest thing I'd have to say about it is what happened when Geo tried to explain to Omega-Axis (that wolf-like thing that becomes the buster gun when they merge) the concept of school. That thing would not shut up! I thought that was pretty funny... then he found out.. Omega never wanted to go there again.. Also, the idea of those two have little arguements, be they in peace or in battle was unusual. I was actually wondering if that would happen eventually in the MM universe..
