(not a discussion for SonicX. SonicX is a wonderful anime, I'm sure, but Adventures(SatAM) is an entirely different story.)... lol, I feel like I'm 7 all over again (even though the show had aired both seasons and been over and done with for two years by the time I was 7). Geez.. ya know, every now 'n then you'll see people who'll go crazy praising this show. Some'd go so far as to say that every new Sonic series, and what-have-you pales in comparison. Till now I just thought they were obsessed fans. The thing is, obsessed fans they may be, but they're right. It's just so awesome. Of course, unfortunately like anything good it got cancelled (after 2 seasons.. I'm not going to make the analogy you're thinking of though). But shoot. That cartoon was ahead of its time I tell ya. Talkin' about '93-'95 or so. The characters have a certain depth to them. And it's got like plot continuity and stuff like that. It's just incredibly awesome, and it's a shame it was cancelled; the plans for a third season sounded awesome. So before I spend hours and hours coming up with a decent ramble about my favorite episodes(Blast to the Past 1&2/The Doomsday Project), favorite characters(Bunnie & Tails), and all that phun stuff, anyone else really like this show?

This was the only Sonic cartoon show or anime or something I was able to watch without (admittingly) yawning. I remember another Sonic cartoon, Sonic Underground, being too dark for my tastes and too serious. Now, I am more than likely going to get the bash/disagreement stick here (which I do not mind anyway), but imagine yourself as a ten year old. You really want to watch some animated cartoon on dark chatter and seriousness and despair? I confess to not having seen much as a kid, but what I did see was dank color and lots of dialogue with a peppering of explosions, enough to turn me off. That, and I was so used to seeing Eggman as the bumbling Robotnik, seeing him so angry, evil and vicious was different, although not in a positive way. I know there have been other Sonic animations popped out over the years (especially from Japan) and I am aware of the recent anime that has been on the Foxbox. I tried watching it. I watched Sonic fall into the anime formula trap. I'm getting old. For whoever in genereal, don't let the otaku purists that are not Sonic fans turn you away because this is not "Japanese" *something I have been seeing a lot nowadays* if you dare bother to torrent this and see for yourself. It may or may not be worth it: This show was fun, but I think was best enjoyed as a kid which I had the fortune of enjoying. On a lighter, more immature note: That's no good!
