I'm waiting for Twin Leaders. Eliminates the two version-ness. ;D
I've only heard good things about bn5, but personally I'm not interested all that much. The Soul Unisons aren't that interesting to me - c'mon, gimme a Plantsoul already. I hear Liberation missions are a pain. Even more limitations on the folders.... I'm r e a l l y hoping that Twin Leaders will make up for these sucky aspects.... =/ either way, I'm waiting for that.

I was thinking of buying one of the versions, but is it *really* that much better than 4? BN4 was one of the biggest dissapointments ever, IMO. Do you still only have 3 turns for the Soul Unions? I heard something about how you can only do one P.A. in a battle, do you know if that's true or not?

The one PA rule is true... sorta.
IIRC, you're allowed to use one Program Advance of the same type. That is, you could only use one Dream Sword, but then you could use a Zeta Cannon or whatever after that. Another limitation put into the games to stop people from creating killer folders... =/
Even so, I hear it's pretty good despite that. I'm still holding out for Twin Leaders though.

Oh, well that's not bad like I thought. With my luck I only get to do the same P.A. once a battle anyway. XD I think I will buy one of the versions, because I've been looking at reviews and they say it's an improvement from 4. =) Now which version? I'll just pick when I get to the store...whenever that will be.

Yeah, the one PA rule isn't really bad for casual players, but for us Folder Makers it's pretty annoying. Of course, there's more power in non PA combos, so it's not THAT big of a deal.
Were I to get one of the versions I'd probably get Protoman. Of course, I'm holding out for Twin Leaders, so it doesn't really matter now does it? ^^

I'm waiting for the DS version, as I think Pitch said in the above post. I'm not even sure I'll get that, 'cause the Battle Network games really seem kind of repetitive and somewhat similar to me. I might be willing to give this one a chance if it seems better, I suppose, but I'd rather have a remake of Tron Bonne, to be honest.

All games get repetitive after a while... It's having the same problems the original MegaMan had... it's sad really. Kinda weird, but one of the reasons I'm not liking the series much any more are the changes they're making. What I mean by that is Soul Unison. XD I can't wait till they introduce a Yuna.EXE and have a Yuna Soul.... wonder how many people know why I think that's phunny. I liked Styles a lot better. But there're E-Reader cards that are LIKE styles... too bad I don't play the Japanese games... way too many headaches.
But all the same, I'm holding out for Twin Leaders, because where BN5 improved over four, Twin Leaders has gone even further. And it's not gunna be an annoying two version thing, where I half-wish I bought the other version anymore. Now if they'd do that for four, my faith in the series would be completely renewd.

Is five significantly different from any of the other games...? Because somehow, 1, 2, and 3 felt kind of...the same, gameplay, sound, graphic, and story-wise.

I meant to say so a long time ago, but 5 I believe lets you be other navis, and play like normal. Only in Liberation Missions or something though. I'm not sure....
Double Team/Twin Leaders though is supposed to let you choose between navis to use in every battle.
And you can use Dark Chips for Chaos Soul Unisons. That's gotta be interesting.
That's the only real significant differences I can think of off hand.

Hello! It's me, RockMan, who has been gone for about 3 months! Anyway, I have Team ProtoMan and I beat the "first" part, which is to defeat Nebula Grey. Now I am infiltrating the Nebula Area of the net! When I open the portal the viruses grow stronger, so when I opened the second portal, the version 3s where killing me!!! Those mettaur3/EXs changes my panels to either cracked panels or poison panels, so I closed it! Even though, BN5 is much better than 4. I'll keep on playing until I get bored, then I will play Kingdom Hearts:Chain of Memories again!
