Help with 3D modelling Mega Man style characters

Hi i was wondering if anyone has ever attempted a megaman legends style character. I was wondering because i am planning on doing a fan game based on the rockman legends world. I know you're all thinking not again but this isn't going to even have Megaman in, but is just set in the same world as the games.

Anyway any help with the 3d models would be fantastic, i have some attempts but cant quite get it right.

I don't have any success or failure stories to share about modelling, as I'm not a modeler, but I would like some more information on what kind of game you're planning.

Mandinga has done most of the modelling up to this point for MMLEx, so he'd probably be the one to talk to concerning Legends-styled characters.

Just figured I'd point out, nezumi hasn't been on since mid the-month-before-last.. Chances are s/he won't be back to check this topic unless s/he bookmarked it, something which few seem to have the intelligence to do these days.
