Recently, I've been looking at my car and decided it looked a little bare:
It needs an obnoxious Bonne symbol to annoy SUVs. I want to annoy. WITH PRIDE.
I've found a good company or two that would be willing to pop out a custom window decal for me but first, I need a good image. I'm looking to make the decal about 3 x 3 to 4 x 4 inches, something more or less the size of my fist.
Since I know nothing about vector logos, can anyone point me out to either:
* A really large symbol. I mean huge. 1000 x 1000 pixelsish range.
(Or, preferrably.)
* A vectored logo. Perhaps fab can help?
Note that I'll love you lots if you can help me spread the Legends plague in the Bonnes' name.

EEP! Excellent!
I'd prefer it in any format with the best quality possible - the cleaner the better. The best would be:
.PNG .BMP
Or if there are not many colors:
.GIF
Take your time and the like. Filesize is not an issue.

Eh I'm not quite sure what you mean FG? Mostly cuz I'm confused as to what vectored means.. Heheheh.. please explain someone and make me feel stupid.
Edit: Nevermind I found out. According to google vector art is:
Vector art is art calculated and drawn using vectors and curves in your computer and printer, instead of by bitmapping. Illustrator and FreeHand are popular vector art programs. Vector art is great for type since the lines stay crisp at any scale. There are no resolution problems with dots or pixels. Type and lines remain crisp not bitmapped. Vector programs are not recommended to finish large gradated areas because of banding issues (that is, visible color breaks).

Yeah. XD Vector would be preferred for the purpose of keeping the quality and hoping the company won't fudge it up when then resize it. (Although detail is nice - I might bug a friend in a bit.)

Neato. Very nice for a start indeed. *nods* The resemblance is there. X3 I can't wait until it's cleaned up? (You said, "So far," so I assume you're not quite done yet. Take your time. The cleaner and sharper, the better.)

Well, if not my name's will work for you, then that's great. If you want vector though, then it has to be in a vector format.
.bmp, .gif, .jpg, and .png are not vector based, they're bitmap types. When you zoom in or enlarge that .png, it will get more and more blurry, vector would still look flawless. I guess you knew that already, but I just wanted to clarify that you can export a vector file into any of those formats, but then it ceases to be a vector file.
So anyway, if you decide you'd rather have it vector, I can make vector images. The only program I have which can do it is Corel Draw (I have versions 7,8,11). I don't know if the companies you're talking about can support the .cdr file format, but I'll be watching this topic if you need me.
Edit: Forgot, I also have Adobe Illustrator 9 for vector stuff, although I'm not as adept at working with it. It has the .ai file extension.

www.decalfactory.com/art_work.phpYeah, they take it. XP And I figured. XP One of my friends made a symbol in Photoshop for a shirt so the .bmp, etc. was for whoever could not vector but could make logos, etc. Which is why I suggested that really big was the best. Too big is not a problem but too small is! For now, let's see not my name's dealie first. *nods*
