After more than a half year of absolutely nothing, there may finally be some kind of redemption for MMLEx. The C++ engine, has turned out much better than I could of even wished. With 3D shots, charge shots, jumping and grabbing onto ledges expected soon.
The C++ engine is much faster than the A6 engine, and allows much more flexibility. All slow downs will be non existent, plus many other nice features not able to be produced on A6, including a functional menu for once and for all. Also included will be custom controls, which will allow those of you who aren't true PC gamers (jk) to put the controls to the arrow keys if you wish.
The actual demo specifications
Reaverbot AI
Shooting, Jumping, and most other movement related functions
Charge Shots
Randomly Generated Ruins and a Main Demo Ruins
Main Menu
Did I mention intelligent AI, especially compared to the "genius' " I was making in A6.
If anyone still thinks this game will be completed, we thank you for your support. If you think it will fail, I don't blame you, I haven't completed much worth mentioning.
Other things to mention
Kobun Kart has been put on hold forever, due to multiplayer problems. The problem was never realized, therefore never fixed. Another reason why I should never try to do something by myself.
"Project Chiz" still hasn't even been started. No new details on that. I don't even know much about it.
Help still needed
Recently, a few Modelors have requested to join in, though I haven't heard back from most of them. We still need some good Concept Artists, and some good Texture Artists. Textures are used for level objects, and models.
Sorry to those low on the artistic ladder (including myself), if you can't draw well, or color well (for textures). Also textures are usually made on the computer unlike concept art.
