Vacuum Arm, because it's useful on “Buster Only” runs.. even though it's not really Buster Only... but you only need the Buster to attack. ^_^ And uhh.. yeah.

Grenade Arm ≤ Useless
Drill Arm ≥ Almost Everything
(but seriously lacks in Range)
Shield Arm might be useful if you're bad at dodging.. At least it actually protects you from non-projectile/impact-projectiles, though, unlike MML2's.. x.x;

I like the Drill Arm the best. Its just fun to knock those turtle thingies and drill 'em to death.

For this my vote is for the drill arm. Here are my reasons.

Grenade Arm: Who uses a weapon that bounces everywhere?

Vacuum Arm: It's good for getting all the zenny but you can only use your buster.

Shield Arm: It won't protect you from everything.

Now the drill arm enables you to finally get to those places you couldn't before. Sure you get it near the end of the game (unless you use wall trick glitch) but it's still very useful.

Although I don't quite remember the drill arm, I found the grenade arm to be fun to use, and I found it to be moderately competent, wait scratch that, I found it to be competent.

The shield arm was cool too, but I still prefer the grenade arm.

The Vacuum Arm was most useful to me. I remember going into the Cardon ruins and ,making lots of money with this.

The Grenade Arm was fun to use especially around corners. Everybody likes grenades. They explode and it's fun to watch. Other than that, it's pretty useless just like the rest of the options. That's my two cents on the matter.
