Seriously, I did. You see, we had to do an oral presentation in English class about communes. If you could start a perfect commune? How would it work? Where would it be? Who could join? What is your idea of a perfect commune? etc. So, I was the first one to break the ice... If you even read the title of the thread, (which I assume you did) you'd probably know what I based myself on... The entire thing was heavily inspired from Kattleox Island. I added a few things that would make the island more livable, such as more residential areas with more houses and a bigger city in general. I also added a few of my own touches since it was also based on my principles and my own philosophy of life. Of course I neglected to mention the ruins found all over the island... Nevertheless, I didn't get my mark yet but the teacher said I certainly passed, all thanks to Megaman Legends. So, just to say that Megaman Legends helped me in my schoolwork. Which is teh first time a video game has. For me, anyway...

I think I should point you to this thread if you would like to know about other times video games have helped us. Also, I would like to congratulate you on your passing. I would also like to mention that I managed to pass an oral exam, thanks to the question being "What would happen if a modern society was crumbled by an otherwise insignificant force?" I, of course, used what I had seen in the legends series (What with the Bonne's, that 'ol group of klutzes, managing to assault Kattleox with machines which should very well be commonplace.)

The closest thing I ever really got to such an experience was when I had to give an impromptu speech in my English class. The topic was 'Guns'. Piece of cake- I already had a ton of knowledge on it.
When I mentioned the old hand cannons that came sometime before the flintlock, I stumbled for a moment. My mind wandered off to Megaman's Buster.

I was kind of hoping you'd have passed the course due to your delivering the presentation in the style of Teisel Bonne. Did you have everyone required to get Citizen ID cards to pass through the town gates?

lawlz, I'm way too shy to do an oral presentation as orginal as in the style of Teisel Bonne, but it would've been cool. No one would've understood the inside joke, but that's what would have made it so sweet. Ah well....
I kind of forgot about the whole Citizen ID cards thing, and I don't think I would've put it anyway since I wanted to make the commune more accessible and keep everyone close together. XP
